I'm glad we are in the playoffs, but really hope this isn't an automatic 4 year contract extension for Bubba. Not convinced he is the one to take us the next step from occasional playoff team to annual contender.

How can this team look so sloppy the 11th game if the year. They have played 10 already, but it's worst then game 1.

Did the coaching staff make vacation plans for next weekend?

Hopefully UND is now in the playoff mood, hungry, and will play as every game could be their last. UND by 21 If it's anything less, we don't deserve the playoffs

The fact this was a national search and it came down to these three candidates shows where UND ranks on a national scale.

Not sure if sarcasm but Dixie State is out of Utah and according to wiki, moving from D2 to join the WAC in 2020, except football which will be a FCS independent.

Look at Airbnb's as well. If looking to save dough, stay in one of the outer suburbs such as Smyrna, Brentwood, Franklin, Mt Juliet or airport area but you'll need a car to get around.

IMO opinion, if you want to stay downtown using the blocks go with Tru by Hilton. Newer hotel, cheapest option, and really close to Bridgestone. Renaissance is a decent option too and is across the street from the arena. It's an older hotel, but recently underwent a remodel. The Vandy/Westend area is a great choice as well. Its not walkable to downtown, but short car/lyft ride and a great "local feel" of Nashville. The worst location is in the Opryland area. Longer drive to downtown and really not a lot of excitment in that area of town.

No worries plenty of options. It is "hub" for Southwest, focus city for Delta, and slowly becoming an Alligent Airlines destination city. Wouldn't be surprised if Alligent did a charter flight from GFK/FAR for the game (if FAR/BNA isn't a seasonal route by then). The biggest issue is hotels. Nashville has the highest rate in the country right now, with rooms downtown running $250 plus on a weekend without major events. Wouldn't be surprised to see $300 to $400 hotel rates. Grow up in Nashville with family still in the area. Can't wait to take some of them to this game.

700+ were band kids Is that paid or butt in seats?

Not sure what the final attendance will be, but without the 700 high school band kids and their parents it would be desolation. Certainly more high school then college students at the game.

Our ability to play at the same level as our competition is just uncanny.

Good to see UND is off to a 2-0 start against " equally compatible" teams. Granted, my knowledge of women's basketball is limited, but doesn't seem there are games we cant be competitive in until maybe South Carolina State?

Is there an estimated total of lost games due to special teams play? I feel it's a pretty significant number.

Champion teams would have put this game away when given the opportunity. Shows UND just isn't at that point.
