He was a hell of a lot better than Holcomb or Jackson have been this season. That's not saying a lot considering how bad those 2 have been but I would think he gives the Vikings a better chance to move the ball consistantly.

Wow, Culpepper suck, the only thing he could consistantly do as a QB was throw the deep ball. Moss is a huge talent and it shows when he has the best QB in the league throwing him passes. To tell you how good Tom Brady is, he made Jabar Gaffeny look good last year and that guy is a terrible NFL WR. Brady has had great numbers will below average WR's his entire career, now he has 30 TD's in 8 games because he actually has some talent at the position. It wouldn't have been good for the Vikings to keep Moss, his attitude when things aren't going his way is only slightly better than TO's.

What does having support of the tribes really mean anyway? Sure we could get the support today, like UND has had in the past but that doesn't mean they will not go back on the agreement later. If that happens we are in the same boat anyway and back to the struggle to keep the name. I really don't like leaving this decision in the hands of people change their views on the nickname on a whim or whenever they think they want or need something else. I really think people should speak with their pocket books on this issue and if the tribes continue to behave this way, the casino's they own should suffer a boycott from anyone who disagree's with what they are doing. Oh, that makes me a hateful racist doesn't it. At least according to most of the 20 or so who have been protesting the nickname and logo.

I have seen both teams play this season, well on TV anyway. I think a UNI/NDSU game would be very close and almost impossible to predict. As good as the running game for NDSU looked against the Goofs, it's Walker and his steady and consistant passing that has impressed me the most for NDSU. It's a toss up.

I have a feeling UND may be recruiting more JUCO players over the next couple of years. UND doesn't sign a lot of transfers, but it seems like they are about 50/50 on whether the players that do transfer in make a big impact.

It's OK to get a few players this way, but you have to be very careful to make certain that you maintain the team unity. I think a good example of this is Mankato, by many account the most athletic team UND has played this year but isn't likely to even make the playoffs. Sure they are good, but are they living up to the level of talent they have?
