I don't think it's a planning issue, it's an execution issue. When you go into the game thinking it's possible you may not have a run game, the QB needs to be on.

The pass completion early in the drive was a tough break for UND. It doesn't make a difference though if Freund doesn't start playing better and the UND defense slows down the GV run game.

Freund looks pretty inconsistant right now. Not sure if it's the pressure or he's is just having an off day.

Even on the 12 yard gain he looked slow, that plays success was primarily based on the Oline blocking well.

Does anyone know if the game is going to have a video stream online? I read that GV would webcast the game earlier in the week but I can find any new information, and the website that normally shows GV games has a game from 2 weeks ago listed. Any help would be appreciated.

So McNeese and Kansas beat them good but everything else was fairly close.

It's getting harder and harder to find bars that can show the games using the Sat. coordinates. I have found one place in the Seattle area with a digital KU band that's needed to get the game, the problem is that it was purchased specifically to watch Montana Griz football. So if the game times conflict you couldn't watch the Sioux game, this weekend that is the case. When I lived in Houston I never found a bar with the capability to watch FSSN. I need to just buy the a dish for myself. Good Luck finding the game.

The Stud in the GV secondary is Brandon Carr, he will very likely get drafted or at least have an NFL tryout. I think the UND defense needs to not give up any big plays to the GV running game and stop the fade. If UND can do that they will have a good shot at winning the game. That's also assuming Chappel plays and we have some success running the ball.

I wouldn't worry about it, it's just a couple of fans whining. Miller is a scarey player to prepare for all by himself, I don't think most teams go into a game with UND thinking "we need to shut down Danny Freund". Fruend is a very good player but the NCC has some great QB's this season and I don't think it's slight that he isn't on the all NCC considering who he was up against. Most QB's didn't players like Weston Dressler to pass to either and that can make a big difference in the stat column. I personally would have put Reilly on the 1st team and Miller on the 2nd but both are very deserving either way.

I think a lot the QB draws and option are in order. Let Freund carry the load.
