I hate to break it to you but the world thinks of us as the "Ugly American" and it doesn't matter who our president is. The current adminstration certainly has made it worse but americans have been generally hated and disliked long before GW came into office.

Mike Juhasz and Tim Prinson are a few that come to mind as well. Also a DE that was drafted into the CFL in the around 96-97, but I can't recall his name.

This is a stupid thread, He was involved in a fight and you are worried about the little the ref did to him. He was barely pushed and fell into the box because he didn't step up high enough. The facemask thing was very minor as well, he was just trying to get him to back off.

Watched the Cactus bowl last night, the West got pounded. The offensive line and QB play for the west team was horrible. King was clearly the better QB for the west while passing the ball, but still didn't look very good. Polk is an amazing athlete at QB, but couldn't hit the broad side of a barn throwing the football. Dressler had one pass thrown his way (although I saw him running wide open a few other times) but the ball was about 10 yards underthrown and he couldn't quite get back to the ball. Alexander played well and had a nice pass break up the only time I saw the east QB's throw in his direction.

95-96, but that certainly doesn't indicate that he would not be a very good coach. Maybe Mussman should be the head coach and UND could bring Bollinger back as the offensive coordinator?

It's more the attitude, no players or coaches really take things from a message board seriously so us venting here would likely cause little or zero problems. It's these attitudes that can damage programs if they take seed with even one or two player. I have watched in happen at 3 different high schools over the past 8 years and it's ugly and to tell you how bad what I witness this year was Eight starters walked off a team in "protest" the day before a game, without those players the team actually got better and won that game (their first win of the year). They weren't nearly as good talent wise, but they were a better and more successful team without those wanna be athletes. College is different or should be because the players are older, they made the choice to play at the school and for the coach at that specific university, and the they are usually far enough from the certain people that their influence is minimized.

Yes, and then what do you do when your only other realistic option at RB (Murry) gets hurt right away against WSU? Do you then bring Chappel in off the bench when Murry gets hurt because the staff obviously wasn't comfortble putting Battle in the game for a lot of carries. Chappel was already hurt and would not have been full speed for the GV game anyway, but you still have to play the guy you think best gives you the chance to win. What happened to Freund during the game anyway?

The sad thing is that if it was any team other than Winona State, most of these people wouldn't be talking like this. Say we draw an unknown opponent and get Ashland in the first round, 18 points wound not have been comfortable enough to even consider removing Chappel, but because a lot of Sioux fans don't respect WSU they consider the game over when we are up 18 at halftime.

I don't know, I would say the best he could end up is 3rd on the depth chart. Chappel is Chappel and Murry IMO is actually a better overall RB than Chappel but doesn't have that same scarey explosiveness.
