That chaps my ass, why the hell am I paying for a service that is hit and miss when it is working and now they aren't even going to show the playoff game online. It's probably some BS dealing with the NCAA not allowing the game to be broadcast online.

Now that the game is confirmed to be on FSSN, any bar with a Digital KU band satellite could get the game. Not a lot of those around because every time I move I look all over for them. Because of the late notice with the game being televised on FSSN I don't think any party could get set up. If you can find a bar that usually shows UND hockey games or Montana Football Games they should be able to get the game on for you. Where do you live? It's an opinion, if you read it calmly and correctly it should appear that way. But I am pretty sure I am at least partially correct in my opinion based upon what I have seen. Does that indicate that I am completey correct, of course not, but if I did have proof and offered it I am sure myself and the whatever evidence I cited would be called racist by some.

If this is the case, we need to just retire the name after next year and be done with it.

I have no problem keeping the NA programs at UND, they should remain as long as they are making a positive impact at UND and in the NA community. Maybe the School of Engineering didn't get a qualified NA applicant, but if that can and will happen in any situation. People should be judged soley upon merit, race should not be a factor in deciding scholarships and who is accepted into a program. I really wish this would just be done with, so we can move on. I do know that if the tribes make the decision that the logo has to go because it's so disrespectful, I will encourage as many people as I can to avoid spending money on recreation on those reservations. For those of you that are more "enlighted" than I am, does that make me a racist?

Your right that some racist trash has been flying around, but I think in some of these statements above you may be reaching a little. I can't check on whether or not some of what has been said he in anger and frustration is true or not but if a statement is factual can it still be racist? If for example if the statement about the engineering students is accurate, then how can it be racist? You may not like it but if it is factual you really should not label it as racist, just because someone doesn't like something or is offended by it doesn't make it racist. It has been a while for me but growing up I spent a lot of time on and around several different reservations, and if I were to state some of the things I observed back then I would be called out as a racist right away in spite of telling the truth of the situation. Here is another problem, in a cultural diversity class I took at UND I was told the first day and had it pounded into me for a semester that because I am white, inherently I was racist and that only white people (men specifically) are racist. It is very frustrating to me when the people champion the cause of fighting racism are actually perpetuating racism.

Stopping the run is not a very complicated thing. Either you control your gaps and don't get blow off the ball or you do. Whether you are talking about zone and stretch or the standard rules blocking, if everyone on the defense does his job (not overpursueing for example) your defense should at least be able to slow down the opposing teams run game. I don't know about having 2 D coordinators, I think in a perfect situation it could work but most of the time it would be counter productive. I do agree that UND is not nearly as talented at LB and on the DL as in past years.

You think NFL players don't get pension! Get a clue, the guys from the past don't get much but current players do pretty well. I put 5 times into my retirement what my employer does, so why can't an NFL player do the same. Most of them also should have a free college education to fall back on, just because somebody retires from the NFL at 30 doesn't mean they shouldn't work in some capacity. I actually watch the football, and talk about players making plays but the players get replaced all the time and it doesn't change me watching or not watching the game. It's hard to justify how a player can earn 15 million dollars in 5 to 10 years (thats a low estimate) and not be able to put some away. I know someone personally who just missed getting the NFL pension because he needed one more game on an active roster. He was only active for 3 or 4 games over 3 years still almost got pension without hardly playing a down. This is not a Brad Childress decision either, blame the owner and management but the coach didn't have anything to do with this. Clueless!!!

and yet they still have it better than almost any other profession. The fact the Vikings did this is horse crap, but don't tell me football players have it bad. It's a different situation for the guys who played 30 years ago but I am responsible for my own retirement and benefits, why can't the football players do the same.

USD defense has either picked something up in UND's run tendencies or they are getting lucking blitzing into the right places on run plays.

USD does have a very good offense, but the UND offense should be gettting points on every drive considering how bad the USD defense is.
