Looks like the db fbs transfer could be Nigel bethel, Texas techs best db. This would be absolutely huge!!! Playing in the pass happy big 12 and routinely lined up on the opposing teams best wr, this could d be a "game changer" for und. Outside of cooper from ewu, this guy would have no troubles lining up one on one with anyone.

That would be good news. Und has to keep adding great depth behind the starters .....at every position. Wr and qb is my worry. The juco wr from California would be a great fit and and looks very explosive. Qb is a mystery behind Keaton.

"Game changer" is very lofty. Almost unattainable. There looks to be some nice recruits not sure on the game changeing. I have two that I've seen that really stand out: Torrey hunt I believe will play and play significant minutes. Very fluid body. Could possibly start dijon Murray looks to contribute. Aggressive and fast potential shirts getting pulled: holm, canady, toivonen, and Randolph. A lot of talent is these guys. first year medical players that have impressed: bennett (stud), Rodgers, engwall and hopefully dulin.

My thoughts exactly of everything. Santiago will have less rushing yards and tds but will be big, no, huge on receiving. More of a committee this year in the backfield. Neverman looks real good and brady is fully healed from his injury. Both will impress. Really like the way Gordon runs. He could be a weapon on special teams this year and get some looks on offense. Being the #4 guy doesn't get a player to many looks but he is dynamic. Big question mark is the o line. Can they gel quickly? They have talent but lack experience. Calling Grady

Lol ! Average! Lol. Und football was 7-4 last year (should of been playoff bound) in year two of bubba ball and sdsu' best season has been a 4 loss season. I would like to welcome you to the club of average.

I have posted a few times about my worries at this position. Not necessarily for their 40 time but more importantly their ability or inability to get separation on routes. Seibel isnt known as a "burner" but he will be missed greatly as he was an exceptional route runner and one that Keaton was able to fall back on. I was also leaning on an unproven iwarri to step up with his talent. That won't happen. A wrs inability to separate can have a trickle down effect. You greatly increase the risk of injury to Keaton as he is left with 3 options: Throw it into tight coverage, run it or take a sack. The latter two are high potential injury risks. We CANNOT afford for Keaton to be injured! Not to mention the constant subliminal mind games it plays on Keaton. The qbs should be throwing before the wr breaks coverage and if the wrs cannot fill their obligatory tasks on separation, it puts a qb in a very uncomfortable situation every time he comes to the line on a passing play. Need a few guys to step up immediately. Clive seems like the obvious choice but after him I'm not sure. I would love to see santiago line up wide occasionally as und is deep and talented at the rb position. I'm glad were a run first team but the need to keep the good defensive teams honest with a passing game as well.

And like before, I would like see it kept local with wdaz. The sports guy, Phil, is real good at what he does and seems to be a down to earth kinda of guy.

Any media attention will get the "so-so" fan to start grabbing on, as long as they are winning. Bubba and crew have done an amazing job at the latter part in only 2 full seasons. Being the last team out of the playoffs last year has finally built an excitement around the football program that will lead into big anticipation for this coming year and the media must jump on it. A bit like Midco did is fantastic.

Agreed. Outside shot at the 4th round, however, it's well known that the nfl dislikes shorter guys. His numbers outshined the rest of the ILB group and his work ethic is second to none. Based on the numbers game, minus the height, he is a first rounder. Being 250 with 4.5 speed at ILB position usually has the "experts " drooling. My guess is fullback position and a killer on special teams

That would be my guess. Could be late 5th but thinking 6th. He literally has everything to make it but is vertically challenged per the nfl "experts".

Enough!!!! Who gives a sh!t about what moo u has to say. The title indicates "former und players" and will ratelle is a former player so let's enjoy this ride. We have one our own that has worked his ass off while here at und, he now has a chance of a lifetime. This shouldn't be about moo u and und, this is about the Wills of the world.

He obviously left an impression on the pats coaching staff which is fantastic. Keep it up Will !

SFI just reported that Grady will be coming back (presumably)as well. Great news. Also, they talk about Gordon maybe lining up on special teams. Love that idea. He's very quick laterally and built to be both power and speed. I would like to see him on punt and kickoff returns.

Will is an extremely hard working talented young man that deserves a shot. The time that he put forth while at und was very apparent as he is a physical specimen that leaves it all on the field. I hope he is drafted and drafted in the higher rounds.

Wow, this is incredible news!!! This will benefit him greatly. Three more years of weight training and blocking for the best back in the fcs will make him millions. As I have mentioned many times, I truly believe he has the talent that warrants a very high draft pick, my thinking is a 2nd rounder. Best thing is, he will receive a degree. It's a win win win win situation. My preseason excitement has officially hit another level! I'm buzzing right now!! Und potentially has 3 all Americans for next year: Cole, Grady and Santiago. If they can pick up some help over the summer at wr position and maybe at the qb position for backup they will be a very tough out for everyone!!! Keep it going bubba!!

The wr position has me the most worried. Not enough "burners" or "separators". Santiago might have to step in occasionally or often to make that position respected by opposing defenses. The wr's need to be able to separate so the qb can make a quick decision as his time in the pocket is very minimal. No separation means the qb has three options: take the sack, run, or throw it into tight coverage which could lead to an int! Taking a sack and running you risk the chance of injury. We cannot afford to lose Keaton!! I'm not comfortable with any of the wr's at this particular time other then Clive to be able to get separation. I was expecting iwarri to fulfill some of this need but..... Seibel was fantastically crisp at route running which lead him to being able to separate but.....They need to put in extra time and dedication this summer with the workout and training program as this will be crucial, along with attrition. Cannot afford to lose anymore.

Lol. Santiago is an all American for a reason. Including Reyes, I'm sure no one in the fcs could make that play.
