Great news. Forgot about arnell.

It's South Dakota st. SDSU That message was peppered with sarcasm and dismay. It's beginning to be that Siouxsports should be renamed to FU 2.0. I could give a rats ass what, where, why, when, how or whatever else goes on for them. They have their own website I would assume....go there!! Bubba is building a hell of a team that everyone HERE should be proud of, and unless were playing, WHO THE HELL CARES!!! Does anyone have any insight on Taj??
-
Any word on taj? Hope he can come back at full strength!
-
I have an idea! Lets talk about South Dakota st or portland st, maybe Alabama or even mankato instead. Please South Dakota st looks to return some nice talent. I can see them being 7-4ish with a first round out in playoffs. I'm not sure Portland st will be in contention for the big sky title next year. No more sneaking up on anyone and they lose some important pieces. Alabama will be Alabama. mankato??? No clue anyone else want join in on sioux sports to talk about these teams.....All. The. Time!!!??

I'm in agreeance with you. Strengths: punting game, kicking game, defensive front 7, by game 4ish 5ish the o line will hopefully be a strength and the running game will flourish. Weaknesses: punt and kickoff coverage, secondary is still very young but have a lot of talent so looking for a much better results and passing game. Very excited to see the experience factor this year as there is massive amounts of returning players everywhere. The o oline has the most holes to fill and are short on numbers, but definitely not short on talent. Our front 7 will be incredible this year. Thy are deep, talented and now have the experience. Can't wait for them and the linebackers to compliment each other. Excited!! I see a 9-2 record barring injuries. On the injury front, Und is now in year three and with this last recruiting class they are able to have the next man up motto and be assured a little better results and the coaching staff has recruiting very well. Young and talented.

That's a gaurantee!! Combine a loaded and talented d line thats experienced with quick aggressive linebackers, you will get a heavy dose of blitzkrieg. Bring the pain

Her post was full of static and came across as moo talk. If i had to a stab at it, it's sounds like she meant to say that when Grady was installed as a starter (week 7) and when the entire o line had finally started to gel that they were pushing d lines back, opening up lanes for buses to drive through. That's what I get it out of it . And shes right.
-
Well good for you. Bye bye

Not talking nfl, talking fcs. Santiago was an all American as a true freshman in the fcs, the division und plays in. He had zero stars and zero other fcs offers. Grady started week 7, was a lock for all American and had zero stars and zero other fcs offers. In other words, there is plenty of "hidden" talented recruits that can be gems, especially in the northern Midwest section of the U.S. Sure it's nice to beat out a some fcs or maybe fbs for recruits but in reality it means squat. It's a monkey see monkey do situation. N Iowa offers some kid a scholly, now you have illinois st offering, sdsu offers , ndsu offers, Toledo , wyoming and at the end some fbs offers a pwo. It's just a domino effect. If wisc st Nw offered a kid a scholly, pretty sure the offers wouldnt start flooding his way, nor would his rival stars. But if Alabama offered the same kid before he was known, the offers and rival stars would fly through he roof . Monkey see monkey do Again, und plays in the fcs and are are doing a great job of finding talent for their diversion. They have lacked depth and to a certain extent experience. Now in year three, bubba and crew are starting to address the depth situation which is an absolute must to compete for a title.

Bubba had seen und football at its highest. He knows we as fans have been starving for much to long and he shares the same compassion. Bubba has a will to win that is contagious and bleeds Kelley green. He wants to be here and does things the right way and more importantly the moral way. Great progress last and now the excitement and expectations leading into next year are very high. Proud to have him leading the team!!

I love Helgren, buts he's asking about redshirt freshman not true freshman. I also like carl engwall as he displayed the nasty. He has a mean streak to go along with his first step and burst. The d line will be fantastic for years to come!
-
Redshirts. I would say bennet. He looks very athletic and ready.
-
Nope. Loaded right now, and they're young. I'm assuming next they will look for a couple.
-
Everything seems to be going as planned. Great job staff!!
-
The one that I'm now waiting for is helgren. He's a huge need for und
-
Yes. Super excited! Keep em coming!!

He never mentioned he won't pan out. I'm in agreeance with him, if the coaching staff didn't offer him a scholly you can take that as the staff saying, " we like you buuuuut just not that much!" A scholarship player is a "target" as where a pwo is a prove yourself. I believe it's been noted numerous times here about the unknowns at the qb position and I also believe most of us, considering what happened when Studsrud went down last year, are on pins and needles with the unknowns, most notably heidlebaugh. The qb position is quite possibly the important position in football. I believe most teams should recruit a qb every other year at a minimum. Every team has different needs at different times but I truly believe you can't have enough quality qbs on a roster At the same time, Bubba and crew know what they have and are obviously very confident in what they have, so I'm on board with that. Can't wait for tomorrow!!!!
-
Has a nice arm, just on the smaller side. He could be a nice player in a few years.
-
THIS IS A UND BOARD!! So @&$#ing tired with everything turning to FU talk! I could give a rats ass about this jj and brooks guy. If they have no interest in und, then it shouldn't be on the UND RECRUITING POST!!! It's beginning to sound like were settling or ok with this crap. I can't even go to sioux sports.com without constantly hearing about that team. Enough!! We have 24 hrs left to hold unto on a great recruiting class. I'm excited about UND FOOTBALL and excited about Bubba standing at the podium talking about this class. I'm already ready for next year!!
-
A post of perfection!!! Well done!

There's no question that wentz is talented. His measurements are very impressive: 6'6" 230 pds. His athleticism is very much above average considering his size. He's a smart kid and very humbled from everything I've heard. His work ethic is not questioned. Big arm. If he can get drafted by a team with a scheme that fits him best, I could see him excelling. My only question in him is his decision making. I don't follow ndsu so I have no idea how he's looked in games. Only seen 3 qtrs of him vs und.
-
Correct! The health of the line is very detrimental to this team. We have some nice talent in place but extremely thin. Losing any starter next year will be magnified a thousand fold. And yes, the Grady loss is just massive!
-
Not saying drop downs are a bad thing, because we've had a few good ones, buts it's a lot better when the coaching staff has the time to develop a player into their system while adding in the experience factor. Transfers are needed for immediate help not developing. I believe successful programs recruit senior high schoolers and then maybe an occasional juco or transfer. Again, not bashing just my opinion.

Completely agree. Maybe greer to o line?
