If you had to guess, how many reserved seats are on the west side.....minus the student section?? How about general for only the top half? My thought is that, like old memorial with one dedicated general side, it's gives the groups of tailgaters that usually stay outside a reason to come in. I've heard numerous times that they don't want to split from their group, which is usually big in numbers. Drinking people bring a lot of atmosphere to a game. Plus the catwalk is getting full

Gotta love bubba!! My top 2 recommendations are: 1). Make the west side all general seating 2). Absolutely need an explosive introduction when the players run out. His team team needs to take care of business plus those 2 recommendations should be a start

Not getting into that on a recruiting post. However my only comment is that I have unfortunately surrounded myself with the loudest most obnoxious "south" fans that I literally have gone wack. So yeah, your right I do need help and could start with you and your buddies leaving this board.

This has nothing to do with respecting him as an individual. He sounds like a good enough kid and I'm sure he is. Lincoln made a decision unfortunately and my personal opinion is, nice not to know you. This has to do with my hatred for the school to south that he immediately jumped on board with. Anyone associating themselves with that school has earned my fuc¥ you button. This may come across as brash..... and well, it is!!! Time to move on Little side note: Bubbas moral compass is top shelf quality, a true class act. He is a complete straight shooter that absolutely bleeds Kelly green!! He's not going to fill the recruit with bs and lies, that's not how he runs his show. I have spoken with him numerous times and he literally goes out of his way to come over, shake hands and talk some football or life in general. He doesn't know me yet he's interested enough to listen to me blab on and on. I played college ball (not und) and it would of been an honor to play for a coach like him. He's fully invested in this university and his kids. I would hope most families of these kids and the kids themselves recognize this. As long as you do your part, Bubba will go to bat for you anytime. Family faith football

He's dirtied himself by being associated to that school to he south, hope und stays away. There are still plenty of great talented recruits out there. Und has been doing a fantastic job on the recruiting front and will continue to do so.

Hudl has him as 4.48 speed, that's where I got my info. He has very long strides that are misleading in the fast or quickness eye test. Again, I have no idea on his speed, just relaying what hudl had posted. By what I could tell it looks like plays cb not safety on defense. On offense rb /wr. The position he would look best in at und would be wr.

Great list. I would have to add one to that : 6'2" 190, Leif bungum, 4.4 he has all the tools. Fantastic athlete!! If memory serves me right he surpassed 50 total tds last yr.

It's a funny thing, when you start improving people start to take notice, whether it's for a good reason or for some reason the bad. There are some that say it was or is fluke while others say this team is a team on the rise and should be reckoned with. Being noticed brings a combination of positive and negative feedback. To be completely honest, from a national perspective und has done very little in football since moving to d1, so the tampered and confused "experts" have a right to be uncertain. While us hardcore fans see the improvement the national publications and experts just read stats and stories from the computer and think they know. Personally this year, I would prefer to be under the radar, at the same time being rated entering the season sets an excitement that the not so hardcore fan can jump on. It also puts a huge bullseye on you jersey. Stoney brook and South Dakota would absoulutely love to get a non conference win against a rated team. This is where I question if und is ready for the exposure and expectations. They are still extremely young and just turned the table on the improvement factor. I truly believe,with their schedule that they could go 9-2 this season making the playoffs and hopefully get a playoff win or two. Being extremely young and inexperienced brings a mixed bag of play. Hoping for consistent play every game! If they improve greatly this year and prove they belong, it's next year where I could see und being a top ten team with championship dreams and big expectations. Bubba ball!! Agreed with Darrell, it's the end of the year polls that matter.

This would be a great get! Had 350 yards and 6 tds in last years championship game and led the d in tackles that game as well. Very good size 5'11" 205 4.52 speed. He will only get bigger this year and the following before playing. Hope und can wrangle him in.

Und hockey dictates times

Absolutely!! Great secondary help is a must in the bubba system. The front seven are a constant motion blitzing machine! Very aggressive and in your face. Have been and always will be! However, it completely leaves the corners on a island. The team to the south which is known to run down everyone's throats, has to adjust their mojo againt und and use the NFLs 2nd overall pick to move the ball. When looking at unds secondary it's pretty obvious why they had issues: 2 starting cbs- true soph and true fresh 2 safeties- first year juco and soph 6 years total experience. Total!! depth: 2 corners - first year fbs transfer and true soph. Safeties- sen walk on and first year juco. 6 of the top 8 guys have been with und 2 years or less. 14 total years of experience between the top 8 players in rhe secondary. You put in perspective that a 5th yr sen has 5 years experience with a program, it only takes 3 guys to out match that total. Und has no problem against the run, just need experience in the secondary. When they can get the secondary help and experience ....look out!! Adding a fbs transfer , we finally have a senior back there! Things are looking a hell of a lot better!!!

They then need to continue the tailgating inside. Alerus needs to make the west side general admission. I have heard many peolple mention that they have to much fun tailgating as a group then are separated once they enter do to their designated seating. Make the west side a group tailgating experience. Students would enjoy it as well. The memorial east side was general admission and a BLAST!

Agreed! He made many plays that most couldn't. He is a hell of a player and one that will be missed! I hope that taj is ready or is close to 100% for the up coming season. I have loved that guy since he's been here. He fits Bubba ball to a tee! He's no ratelle but he is very integral part of the d. Up until last year, I had always thought he was the best backer und had. Hopefully he is this year

As I have noted numerous times, Grady is as irreplaceable as Keaton. He is incredibly mobile , has fast nimble feet (great for pulling purposes) and has the size. Get him in the weight room a couple years and he will be a menace. Very confident he will be drafted very high if he returns. He played middle lb in high school, that shows what kind of talent he is at 285 pound (high school). I also have mentioned numerous times that I truly believe that demon will be an all American, whether it's 1st, 2nd or 3rd team, before he is gone. Both he and Grady are or should I say hopefully will be on the right side!!!! Incredibly talented right side. Add in santiago and that is a recipe of amazing that we will enjoy for the 3 more seasons!!! If Grady does not return, und has more then enough talent just not his caliber, minus demon. Plus you take away a starter, you take away the cohesive, experience and leadership factors as well. Santiago was living on the hip of Grady at years end last season. Hope it continues this year

I'm excited and nervous for this game. It's at their place, first game of the year, the o lines first game together and the wr crew. The one thing that is almost guaranteed IMO, is that the d will have little issues with their offense. Our d line will be a huge advantage for us in this game, for both pressuring the qb and stopping the run. This will not be a high scoring game as neither team is built that way, both are defensive minded teams and ground and pound. A couple of crucial mistakes by und could be very critical. With both teams style of play and keeping the score close, them having home field advantage, any type of error is magnified. However, if und wants to take the next step on being a national competitive team, I feel they must dominate them, not so much necessarily in score but in the trenches and play. Und could (should) be able to so. It would be absoulutely devastating if und loses this one. Start 0-1 would be detrimental to both the psyches of the players and fans alike, not to mention the possible playoff implications that it could potentially have. I would be very dissapointed if they come back home with a loss! This is an "expected" win and und should oblige If Grady is back I love our chances to be dominant on both sides of the ball! Count down to Bubbal ball!!

Congrats to the four youn men. I'm a bit upset that taj wasn't voted a captain. Will be a three year starter ans seems to be a leader based on his play. Regardless, they picked some great guys and can't wait for September 1st

Looks like the db fbs transfer could be Nigel bethel, Texas techs best db. This would be absolutely huge!!! Playing in the pass happy big 12 and routinely lined up on the opposing teams best wr, this could d be a "game changer" for und. Outside of cooper from ewu, this guy would have no troubles lining up one on one with anyone.

That would be good news. Und has to keep adding great depth behind the starters .....at every position. Wr and qb is my worry. The juco wr from California would be a great fit and and looks very explosive. Qb is a mystery behind Keaton.

"Game changer" is very lofty. Almost unattainable. There looks to be some nice recruits not sure on the game changeing. I have two that I've seen that really stand out: Torrey hunt I believe will play and play significant minutes. Very fluid body. Could possibly start dijon Murray looks to contribute. Aggressive and fast potential shirts getting pulled: holm, canady, toivonen, and Randolph. A lot of talent is these guys. first year medical players that have impressed: bennett (stud), Rodgers, engwall and hopefully dulin.

My thoughts exactly of everything. Santiago will have less rushing yards and tds but will be big, no, huge on receiving. More of a committee this year in the backfield. Neverman looks real good and brady is fully healed from his injury. Both will impress. Really like the way Gordon runs. He could be a weapon on special teams this year and get some looks on offense. Being the #4 guy doesn't get a player to many looks but he is dynamic. Big question mark is the o line. Can they gel quickly? They have talent but lack experience. Calling Grady
