  1. So change the thread title of "to" to "might" and you described it accurately.
  2. Those teams could actually compete against each other.
  3. And these schools (Montana, UND, NDSU, UNI) are also still competing (in actual competition) against FBS schools that they'd like to try and keep up with.
  4. UNI uses up all their donors more to pay their men's basketball coach just shy of $1,000,000. I wouldn't feel too sorry for them.
  5. You'll probably see some lopsided scores in the first round of the NCAA hockey tourney with some conferences auto bids.
  6. When you say Roughriders, you've said it all!
  7. Wonder if any football recruites are going to be watching the Bison football game Saturday on ESPN listening to the commentators talk about NDSUs FCOA.
  8. That's the whole point of this so the haves can further separate from the have-nots.
  9. It doesn't have to do with tuition, room, books etc. But "personal living expenses". Not sure anyone knows how a school really comes up with their own numbers. And that's where there will probably be adjustments to this so there is more of a equal playing field.
  10. Shhhh
  11. No limit. It's based on the figures a school uses.
  12. That's what UND said about moving to Division I.
  13. UND Followers?
  14. Found it. NDSU can offer $3,400. UND can offer $5,800. Gamechanger?
  15. For NDSU. UND is nearly double that. Some Bison fan posted it here awhile ago. Hammersmith?
  16. Isn't UNDs "FCOA" nearly double that of NDSU? Meaning UND could offer a star recruit $6,000 and NDSU could only offer $3,000? "so what is the bigger draw"?
  17. UND official slogan should change to "We'll wait and see what others do."
  18. Such delusion. You won't hear "let's go Sioux" within three years after a new name is chosen...except maybe the person next to one or two fans.
  19. The ncaa never forced UND to stop fighting Sioux. UND chose to. UND can be the fighting Sioux tomorrow if they wanted. But the people of the state realized the consequences and voted to get rid of it.
  20. Looks like the title of this thread might be accurate.
  21. Nah. It's the best out of all that were submitted. All 10,000 of them.
  22. Happy to see the majority of the people on this site like the best nickname ever.
  23. Oh so easy to be against something. No one wants to be FOR something and want to worry what their other frat buddies think of them.
  24. Where's the petition that I hear is going around North Dakota to stop LSS? What if they got enough votes to put it on the states ballot? Bye. Bye. Will there new building get foreclosed and turned into something useful like a Hooter Restaurant?!
  25. I don't know much about Bison athletic buildings because basically I don't care but I know they are also looking to save construction money where they can on the remodeled BSA. What I find interesting is I can't remember the last time UND has had to raise any sort of money to build any significant athletic building. Before I was born? Hyslop? Alerus: city owned. REA: one nice fellow. Betty: one nice lady bonded cause of one nice fellow. Old Ralph: students voted to raise the money themselves. Am I missing something? One indoor practice facility with 30 years to fundraise?
