This super smart academic guy didn't think things ever change in a state budget? This super smart guy wouldn't think he'd ever change his mind and leave himself an out instead of proclaiming to the media he won't ever look at the issue again? Maybe he's not so smart.

Kennedy has already stated he won't be cutting sports. He said it he was only going to look at the issue once during his time at UND.

Just keep improving and don't have any let downs and it could be a good season.

UND did ok last year without flopping much. Talent is the issue not diving. UND players have definately flopped in the past. And still do it to this day. Just never discussed to great lengths here.

I've seen it a thousand times, it's basically when one team wins the other team goes "we'll get them next time" (either in the playoffs or at home...or in this case "too bad we don't play them at home because we'd win"). If you want to read into it as "lowering the bar" by barely losing on the road to one of the big skys historically strong teams that's fine.

Your comment not mine. Someone said the home teams would be likely to win this series (that means their "about equal")....and you replied that was the state of UND basketball. In your quote there was no emotion of happiness connected. I know it was an attempt at a "slam" UND basketball on your part, but it failed miserably.
