Three of those four were drafted higher than Tomek. And the other one on your list, Miller, started every year of his college career let alone was ever third string. I'll save you some work there is plenty of starting goalies drafted lower than Tomek. Most starting goalies in the NHL were not.

According to the article, NDSU administration declared they had no idea it was a thing ever.

The last time NDSU went on the road, I'm not even sure the rule was in effect then.

To Summarize last Saturday... UND played by the rules, but when tasked with the same thing NDSU said...oops we had no idea and don't have enough time to follow the rule.

Haha. I didn't say a word about the Gopher team. The guy that says he didn't care about them brought the team up. The teams don't play often but their fans are still on this website and if I want to engage them I will. Thanks.

No second guessing needed. We know if bubba calls timeout at 4 or 5 seconds. UND would have had a kickoff return attempt and likely something they have practiced before.

Richmond and UND each had one timeout left and the clock was running down from about 20...Richmond waited and called timeout at 3 seconds (enough not for a return kickoff). A heads up opposing coach calls timeout at 5 or 6 seconds left..the sweet spot where there is time left to get a return kickoff yet not enough time for Richmond to run two plays (the kick was converted on 3rd down). Outcoached.

I saw no action by Bubba to check the clock. Coaches job is to do everything he can to give his team the slightest chance to win at the end no matter how small that chance may be.

Watching the replay on espn 3 today. It looked like a second left was on the clock when the ball went through the uprights. Bubba conceded defeat pretty easily.

Although it looks official, and has a decent amount of followers for it, I don't believe it is.
