The Ralph built the basketball and volleyball teams a new arena. How much can they complain?
Locker rooms and scoreboard were majority donations. How can they complain?
Lol. Fill me in. What's the contract say is the minimum? Oh wait there is non.
REA aims for $500,000.
Or in layman's terms. If average attendance decreases by 500 a game,
"Sorry, no $500,000 "profit" this year."
Because the Ralph obviously wants to do their best to help UND the best they can. So they try and to give what they can at the end of the year.
But it can be as low as $1,000 if they wanted. There is no set amount they have to donate to UND.
Who is to say who draws the line?
They are free to spend their money however they want.
Especially when it will only cost the arena a fraction of the actual cost thanks to the donation.
It's almost like women's hockey. UND gets grief for having started and trying to have it vs all the schools that never tried.
The Ralph could keep all the extra money in reserve and not donate anything to UND if they so pleased. If they had done that in previous years, I guess we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Says the guy with a picture of Notre Dame highlighted on his Twitter page, a school with one of the biggest athletic budgets in the world, but doesn't have women's hockey.
I guess that means the only real travesty here was UND was one of those few universities that took a chance on women's hockey. Which now McMahon shows the world: "Hey, it's best not to try."
Sioux logo on the bottom might likely just there to help give a perspective on the size of the new one vs old.
As it is appears to be blocking the inside screen for the bench to see.
