  1. Agree. Agree even more. Now touch gloves, go back to your corners, come out at the bell, and let's have a good clean game. Wait, SDSU, you can stay in your corner.
  2. I am unaware of any UND Hockey players ineligible to vote in their native country this November. Are you? If not, UND Hockey is at 100% eligibility. But your math claims NDSU has higher than 100%? Please don't tell me NDSU football is practicing another form of voter fraud, call it "Chicago style*". *Vote early, vote often.
  3. Again, what does this have to do with class A misdemeanor voter fraud charges filed this week against 10 current and 3 former NDSU football players?
  4. What does this have to do with class A misdemeanor voter fraud charges filed this week against 10 current and 3 former NDSU football players?
  5. Buy UND stuff from the shop in REA. Why? REA profits ultimately end up back with UND.
  6. But if they create the future "Football Final Four" tournament such that you have to be a conference champion to get in ...
  7. Q: What do the other disciplines and rates on US Navy ships call Machinist Mates? A: Knuckle-draggers.
  8. The more I think about this it's just another step on the path to the vision that Nick Saban vocalized recently: www.footballscoop.com/news/714...e-fbs-level#FCS And that makes sense given what the Sun Belt commissioner said recently. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/s...055--ncaaf.html Notre Dame "consolidating" into one of the "above the line" conferences ensures them a seat "above the line" or in the 70 or so that Saban mentions. I don't believe Saban or Benson created the vision, but I do believe they're talking about it because forces are in motion to make it happen. Why will it happen? Money.
  9. A while back a wise man told me, "Don't piss off people who buy ink by the truckload." I think I'm going add to that with, "It's not smart to piss off people with high wattage transmitters either."
  10. How can you see that from your pool in Arizona? Did you eat lots of carrots when you were a kid and have great eyesight now?
  11. When I look at images of your past "Monte Montezuma" mascot's costume I'd say folks with fashion sense, or maybe Don King because of the "hair".
  12. Get in front of it, deal with it, let people know you've dealt with it. http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=91413
  13. The word that applies that hasn't come up is disenfranchise. http://www.bing.com/Dictionary/search?q=define+disenfranchise&qpvt=define%3a+disenfranchised&FORM=DTPDIA Now normally that word means voting but, as you can see from the definition, it also applies when a legal right has been deprived, like in this case the folks who meant to sign a petition to get an issue on the ballot but who had that signature thrown out because the petition circulator refused to sign the affidavit authenticating it. North Dakotans who signed petitions (their right) that got thrown out, because others chose to perform illegal acts, were disenfranchised. Disenfranchisement is not a good thing.
  14. Maybe the problem is people don't know what schadenfreude is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schadenfreude
  15. A lot of fun was had by others at the expense of Matt Frattin and Dan Kristo. It's schadenfreude. And yes, we're just one lawn mower toss from from problems. So is everyone else. I believe what has the attention moreso than the actions of the student-athletes is the lecturing to the media ("it's over") and attempts to make the cause of the problems the victims from Bohl and Taylor. Toss in the "empty chair" Bresciani and reason for skepticm abounds. (And I haven't even reopened the issue of: What'll come of this to all NDUS schools at the next Legislative session.)
  16. A week before his 21st birthday. Now voted most likely to not make the trip to Alaska for the season opening tournament.
  17. Given the national exposure on this one, and the Secretary of State's position that he wants the voter fraud laws changed from a class A misdemeanor to a class C felony, how willing will the Cass County State's Attorney office (and their bosses in Bismarck) be to deal this one down to a lesser charge?
  18. Thank you. No, it would've been the truth which must be welcome at all time. (And we don't need any Lt. Kaffey / Col. Jessup interactions here.)
  19. I guess I didn't look closely and pay attention, but with (right-handed) Hendrickson in at QB was the offensive line, or at least the tackles, "flipped" based on blind-side protection? I know that last year's LT was playing RT in game one to protect (left-handed) Hanson's blind side. If the line was shuffled for week two based on blind side, yeah, I can see why UND may have had issues running the ball. If that was the case they should be able to work on that this week. Also, has Hanson's status changed? Would he be able to come in for a play or two if needed (rather than the other options)? The last report I heard was that he was on the sidelines at practice but without crutches.
  20. I believe I predicted that this will be noted by the Legislature and certain forces (call them Carlson's Cadre) will use this mess to further their mission to eliminate the ND SBoHE and the concepts of "local control" by the universities. Yes, the State will take notice. This fiasco has just cost the State at least an extra $11,300 (I thought the radio said $15,000) because of the fraud foisted upon the State. This frugal Legislature will notice that. The State Emergency Commission agenda from Sep 10, 2012, has the Secretary of State asking for the extra funds to pay for the extra work from investigating the fraud on the petitions: Source: http://www.nd.gov/sos/emergencycommiss/Agendas/20120910-revised.pdf
  21. Doing a full North Dakota search on Mr. Beck, "94 in a 65 mph zone"? We know why Bohl recruited him. How to search: 1. Start here: http://publicsearch.ndcourts.gov/default.aspx 2. Pick your range in drop down (from State to whichever municipality) 3. Click Criminal/Traffic 4. Last name, First name 5. Search button (at bottom).
  22. Wait a minute. Does that say Beck's 06/06/2011 MIP was his second and this 7/23/2012 violation is his third alcohol related violation, or is that "2nd" just a note that 7/23/2012 is Beck's second?
  23. So Beck will plead guild to a second MIP but in doing so gets the resisting charge dropped. http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/373874/
  24. McFeeley: " ... 'Silent' Dean Bresciani ... " McFeeley just pointed out that Bresciani got involved with changing sideline reporters for football but not involved with the voter fraud decisions. And now McFeeley just used the name "Jose Mohler" ... ouch.
  25. Yes, UND fans have opinions. The ND Attorney General files charges.
