I like it; however, to ward off the foreseeable onslaught of folks who will vote not in UND's best interests (i.e. vote for the worst of the list), I hereby offer the notion of weighted voting. The weighting? Number of posts here.

I see what you did there ... and I'm not surprised. You are seldom niggardly with your extensive vocabulary.

How hard would it be for Wyoming to put on their "best for the student-athlete" face and reach a gentlemen's agreement with UND that Nevermann can play immediately as long as he doesn't make the trip to Laramie this fall. (Notice the lack of question mark above; that's rhetorical.)

I believe it's Chartrand, Gornall, Janatuinen, Wolanin who will all be 20+ on August 1, 2015. Chartrand will be 21+ on that date.

Goes to show that letters behind your name (like PhD in the case of McDonald, or JD in the case of the general counsel) mean you're educated, but not necessarily smart or up to date.

Not quite. The applications are still in processing.

I find the term neutral at very best; and yes, I've also heard it used with a less than positive connotation. I'm not a fan of it.

The %gobc is made up of: Sasquatch Yeti Nessie (from Lock Ness) The jersey devil Ogopogo Grand Forks is a central location for that group. They meet at the 32nd Ave truck stop for fries and gravy monthly. Nessie is allowed to attend by telecon for 8 of the 12 meetings to save on trans-Atlantic airfare but normally attends anyway. And I'm as close to reality as any other claims made here.

Careful ... you know what happens to those who disagree with KJU.

No kidding. If that's how she's interpreting things, how in the world do we keep the name of the State (North Dakota*) on the uniforms? *American Indian tribal name alert is sounding!

I agree. -
Be nice. It's one good thing PBD has done.

That could be an embarrassment of riches at defense.

How tight-lipped were the Flyers on this? The general manager's kid (Hextall) probably didn't know until the rest of us. Why do I say that? No leaks from him or former teammates of his or that chain. -

Oh, so crushing DaveK's Penguins wasn't in the mix too? -
Yup. Hiring a current UND employee to an open position (that they are qualified for) is an internal hire and a fast process. Hiring in from the outside brings us the longer, painful process (see: hiring FB Coach Bubba S.).

Yeah, me too. I was in meetings all morning? Another slow off-season Monday, right? -

Folks, this is what a captain looks and behaves like. -
External hire vs. Internal hire. Different processes. Being academia, the internal hire process is more like a "union shop": next fully qualified guy gets the inside lane to the position.
