  1. MVFC teams' (10) primary conferences: Missouri Valley: 5 Summit: 4 Horizon: 1 There's your answer.
  2. As wonderful as the MVFC may be, the loss of the Summit BB autobid would be devastating. Summit League sponsored football is possible if the schools see the need and have the will. The Summit historically doesn't see "needs" until they are staring them in the face.
  3. The Summit has a vicious problem starting at them: Lose Fort Wayne and lose the BB autobid (because you take a double hit: you no longer have enough baseball or mens soccer schools). Lose Western Illinois and lose the BB autobid (because you take a double hit: you no longer have enough baseball or mens soccer schools). The same goes for Oral Roberts and Omaha. Yes, any of those four schools jump ship and the BB autobid goes away. Any of those four cut baseball or mens soccer and the BB autobid goes away. Fort Wayne would jump to the Horizon the heartbeat they were invited. Western would go to the OVC just as quickly. And Oral Roberts would have to at least ponder a conference that didn't involve the Dakotas in months ending in Y. The Summit would be well-served to bring football in-house and thus eliminate the need to sponsor soccer and baseball to keep the BB autobid (as football would serve in their place). The Summit will have five FCS schools come fall 2020. It just takes one more (assuming Western still in).
  4. Friday: Adams Saturday: Weatherby
  5. It would seem reasonable, but you can only pick it once in a string (just like a player) would be my assessment.
  6. Per the settlement UND must 'retain the rights' to the old nickname and logos. To do that they must use them from time to time. Making, wearing, and selling legacy jerseys meets that criteria. Nothing to see here other than meeting contractual obligations and keeping NCAA lawyers at bay. PS - Notice where the money from the jersey auction is going ...
  7. Nope. Per the settlement UND must retain the rights to the old nickname and logos. To do that they must use them from time to time. Making, wearing, and selling legacy jerseys meets that criteria. Nothing to see here other than meeting contractual obligations and keeping NCAA lawyers at bay.
  8. The problem with solar and wind is they may not be producing when the demand for energy is there. Better battery storage technology, to store the energy produced at peak production times for later use during peak demand, would be a massive leap forward.
  9. Top 5 at least
  10. fewer Your local language police
  11. I’ll take the over.
  12. Is that really brown or just terrible filtering on the camera.
  13. Asked for his take on the game, UND hockey legend Watzisnaem "Perky" Sparko said, regarding UMary and the Bison goalie, they "meg hem luk az siv".
  14. Can't be. Neither "triple" nor "reverse" can be heard.
  15. Buck right face sucker X glance. Or Rudy has schizophasia expressed by word salads.
  16. I just wanna hear how a UND player put the old "how's she goin'" move on a BSU defender ... about five times.
  17. Per Schlossman: But what do I know.
  18. Oh, it's official. I'm authorized.
  19. Q: What do you call the person who graduates last from Med School? A: Doctor.
  20. Or 63% of respondents give it a passing (D or higher) grade. Someone once said, "The fastest way to make nobody happy is to try to make everybody happy". I'll say it again: There were a lot of things to gripe about in the process. Undoubtedly. But, now we're griping about strictly internal matters. We are NOT griping about how and when the NCAA will sanction UND or who'll be next to not schedule UND or what next event will be blown out of proportion and blamed on a logo. As a bonus, Leigh Jeanotte and his crew's soap box was removed. I may not find the new nickname or logo as inspiring as they could be, but I still smile a smile when I see it thinking about how it's better than all the NCAA/schedule/political/bad PR problems of the past.
  21. Precisely.
  22. The updated list: Chairman of Ownership Group: Mark Chipman (honorary, Mark didn't play hockey at UND, he played football at UND) Coach: Hakstol F: Oshie, Toews, N Schmaltz, Nelson, Johnson, Parise, Jost, Rowney, Zajac, Boeser D: J Schmaltz, Forbort, Ladue, Stetcher G: Dell
  23. So does that say more about NDSU or the state of the B1G?
  24. The updated list: Hakstol F: Oshie, Toews, N Schmaltz, Nelson, Johnson, Parise, Jost, Rowney, Zajac, D: J Schmaltz, Forbort, Ladue, G: Dell It seems Caggiula and Stafford are yet to appear (unless I missed it somewhere).
