Welcome Mr. Thome. What'cha gonna show me? http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/4354230-cam-johnson-sustains-pregame-injury-peter-thome-make-first-career-start

Two episodes in and they are covering ... not a college program.

Not that I see. https://und.edu/finance-operations/human-resources-payroll/careers/secure/job-openings-external.cfm?all=1

And there is a hidden thing in putting your 7th D as 4th line RW if you're short forwards: Normally you put a top four pair of D out to protect the fourth line. In this case, the top 4 are solid offensive D who now know there's an extra defenseman on the ice if they decide to pinch or get aggressive in the offensive zone. Now if Wolanin or Bast wants to walk a puck deep in the offensive zone, instead of an F covering the point ...
-
If you’re short forwards you make you seventh defenseman the fourth line right wing.
-
If they need a D to move up this weekend my guess is Casey Johnson.
-
Masterfully played.
-
So we get to spend the week speculating on the availability of Hoff, Olson, and Simonson.
-
But aren’t we all.
-
It might have been the perfect play if we could block for it. Freshman freshman sophomore freshman senior is not a combination for offensive success. It wont get better until the offensive line is better.
-
Complain about play calling all you want but until the offensive line is solidified nothing will work. Who recruits that position? They should be looked at. Who builds them up physically? They should be looked at also.
-
All this is just noise until the offensive line is solidified. That is all.

A 67 year old guy gives every indication he's going to stay on as long as possible by getting an extension just days before Kelley leaves office. (Remember that?) Or was he. To my eyes this was Kelley helping Faison out. Faison had leverage (the extension from Kelley). Faison got what he (remember, 67) probably really wanted: golden parachute. Kelley probably knew Faison's time had come and gone but Kelley didn't have time to form a committee to recommend that a committee draft a proposal to another committee to evaluate the AD. So, Kelley did what Kelley always did: nothing, but pass the buck.

Mentioning hockey schools, Penn State has openings. Penn State. Hockey. ... Wow. Whodathunkit.
-
The AAD of which you refer is AD at K-State now, isn't he? Michigan and Michigan State have openings, but not Wisconsin (thinking "hockey schools").
-
Q: What's the difference between a brown noser and a < bleep > head? A: Depth perception.
-
Someone mentioned former UND Sr Assoc AD Sean Johnson's name (currently AD at U Jamestown).
-
Why don't you complete the "facepalm" trifecta and throw out Bob Entzion's name.
-
I forgot he landed there.
-
Faison's track record shows he's a good administrator. If he has a weakness it's that he's not great at kissing hands and shaking babies; he's not the gladhander the %gobc and others 'need'. However, in today's world, being a schmoozer is a key job function of the AD.
-
Crazy question that just struck me: What are the qualifications to be AD at an NCAA Division I school? Is there some sort of "license" or "training program" or "schooling" one must have completed to hold the position per the NCAA? Other requirements?
-
Lennon's barely been in place at UMary as AD. I'm not sure it's him ... yet. Ray Purpur is a fantasy. It's nearly impossible to get him off The Farm (Stanford). For that matter, getting any AAD from a P5 would be a challenge unless they have local ties. Rob Bollinger? I'd think the %gobc would be backing him. Josh Morton's an interesting name. Would he come back? (Side note: His dad is now chair of the ND SBoHE ... somehow ... yeesh ... )

Zebras have lost control of game.

Someone check the skates of Hoff. Keeps losing edges.
