I've always wondered why people do that. I was always told if you want to go into a medical field go undergrad to a school with a medical school. You don't have to go to med school there, but they better prepare you for the med school process.

I got in trouble when Wentz was drafted when I questioned Philly's O-line and noted that Wentz really hadn't been hit hard in college, in FCS, because of NDSU's O-Line; I dared muse about durability at the professional level at that time because all we had to go on for durability was a wrist injury and very few violent collisions. Two season ending injuries later, am I allowed to ask now?

Not saying, just pointing out we already have a NDHSCA Class AAA First Team All-State QB on the roster ... at WR. Why wasn't Pifer given a look at QB? The (admittedly) little I saw of him at South was pretty good.

No coach will succeed in Philly until the raft of rickets they've had in net is resolved.

I come into this thread continually hoping for a big, mean, ugly, likes-to-walk-on-you, hog report. (The ugly is negotiable.) Where's my offensive line that teams fear.

Back to one of my favorite arguments ... Yes, NDSU has had quite a run a QB. There's no argument there. But I'm going to say their offensive line play has been equally, if not more so, as important and good through that period of time. Good OL play comes from three factors: offensive scheme (using what you've got to the best of its ability), coaching, and strength and conditioning.

Being the house contrarian, I tend to look at KRACH. Yes, PWR is how they seed, but KRACH gives me a more objective feel than PWR or RPI. KRACH has UND at 10 right now. If the bones of the Herald building are good, repurposing it is a great idea. Rather than build a library why not use that existing building. If some street-level retail could be put in, all the better. Does GF Central need additional space? Does City Hall need space? That building is right there for both.

The Snyder angle is real and the largest lurking negative for Klieman, but at least it’s out there and not in the shadows. Frankly, NDSU losing the S&C guy, as I heard he’s going with, may be just as big news but overlooked. He’s been an unsung hero to that program.
