AZSIOUX
cstv roundtable - they discuss und and miami <a href="http://www.cstv.com/chat/102807aaa.html" target="_blank">http://www.cstv.com/chat/102807aaa.html</a> my favorite line Dave Starman: Lamoureux is pretty darn good. Ken Schott: He can stop pucks in fog just as well on clear ice. Dave Starman: Bina is a general out there, Miami doesn't have a 1-2 on defense that rivals Chorney and Bina, no disrespect to their players. Oshie is a game breaker, Duncan is great. They have grit, and they'll beat the hell out of you in the process because no one finishes hits like these guys....they remind me of the Calgary Flames in the late 80's early 90's...they just beat people up. Elliot Olshansky: I don't know Dave, I think Ryan Jones, just for starters, can give some of the Sioux a run for their money in the finishing hits department. Dave Starman: Yes, but how about the other 17 skaters? No one hits 1-18 like the Sioux do except maybe Wisconsin, and that's not really Wisco's identity yet this season. AZSIOUX
wcha news WCHA teams stand 19-4-4 vs non-conference competition so far in 2007-08 http://wcha.cstv.com/sports/m-hockey/spec-rel/102707aaa.html
SiouxTupa
Should be 20-5-4 after CC loss and SCSU win on Sat. That was only through Fri. Probably rise again this week with MSU playing Alabama-Huntsville (but you never know with the Mavs).

Siouxman
That schedule is a joke. Miami has exactly 10 games against teams ranked in the top 20. UND has 26 games, plus then the Final Five. Miami will never see the Frozen Four with that schedule. Even worse, when looking at top 10 teams, UND plays 16 games against top 10's and Miami plays exactly 4. They have an exhibition schedule. jk
All it takes to see the Frozen Four is a two-game winning streak. Miami's probably a lot better than most here think. I'll just worry about the Sioux and let the rest happen.
The Whistler
I hope it's not like last year where parity in the WCHA kept some competitive teams out of the tournament. We've almost all got to run the tables in the non-conference games to get our due.

While I hope many WCHA teams get into the tourney I think the RPI adjustment will prevent five from making it again anytime soon. Hope I'm wrong, but with RPI de-emphasizing schedule strength it will negate a lot of the WCHA advantage.
