Gophers have picked up on Campion's quick whistle, the diving has begun. Obviously they won't allow the game to become the Denver/Mn series last weekend. The Sioux were outplayed that period, but are still in the game, fortunately. Quote

He couldn't get the shot off, got checked/lost his edge and barely touched Briggs and he gets 2 minutes for crosschecking? To paraphrase Virg Foss and just about everyone in the WCHA: "THESE REFS SUCK!" The hook that sent the Gopher player to the box was nonexistant as well. Down 1 is okay, the shorty by Bina was a big one. Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 There was no cross check. Briggs came out to the top of the crease. Goofer defenseman on one side of him, throwing an elbow into him, Briggs on the other side. Kaip should have probably shot, but it shouldn't have been a penalty. Quote
