siouxhockey5 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Is the USA feed working, i am having problems getting into it. Siouxhockey5 Quote
dagies Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Canada was looking really good until Sweatt's rush where he ran around one guy and pylonned a second guy and got into position for a shot. Good hustle by Carmen to be in position to swat the rebound off the end boards into the net. Quote
redwing77 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I'm not impressed with Downie. Why does this guy wear a letter? Quote
luapsided Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Video should work. It's in French though. SWEET THANKS.. glad i got off work eary and saw this post! Quote
DMT Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 For me, channel 40224 is the only thing appearing, and that's for the Canada/Sweden game yesterday. You've probably figured it out by now, but it says Canada-Sweden, but is actually Canada-USA. It is really choppy for me though. Quote

It is really choppy for me though. i'm assuming it's because of whoever is streaming the video doesn't have a great upload rate. it's a different person than who does the nhl games, apparently. the nhl games stream perfectly, this has been a little choppy. USA Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I'm not impressed with Downie. Why does this guy wear a letter? What don't you like? He mixes it up and has figured in on 3 of Canada's 5 goals in this tourny. Lee gets a penalty Quote
USA Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Jack Johnson crushes someone 5 on 3 for Canada Quote
southpaw Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 i don't know if that really should have been a penalty. sure he hit him hard and got his hands up a bit, but it was clean... it just looked bad because it was so violent. Quote
redwing77 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Wow. Johnson smokes a Canadian player in the head against the boards. Apparently in the CHL that's a DQ-able offense. It looked nasty. USA- I don't like his attitude. It has nothing to do with his play. I understand why he was named to the team and I can even see his talent as a first round talent. But his attitude isn't very good. Assuming it is JJ, he is a real hot head. He has lost his temper all three times I've seen him play vs. the Gophers and obviously people can get under his skin. Quote
Vegas_Sioux Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 they place ads on the officials now? Quote
sappysieve Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 What a penalty fest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 11 in the second period, wow!!! Quote
redwing77 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 THis is becoming a penalty fest. At least Team USA is finally playing well. sagard- It is JJ. Sorry. EJ is playing good. JJ isn't having the best game. Quote

Nice to see him chuckling about the penalty in the box, too, just after he put his team down two men. Quote
redwing77 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 For the first time in quite a while, I can say that Team USA has won something. They outscored Canada 2-1 in the second period. They've now made this a game. I hope they come out in the third and limit Canada to one goal or less (if it is a Canada goal, let Toews score it) and keep up the scoring. Quote
sagard Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Are we 2-3 and down two heading to the third? Quote
