jimdahl Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 And Tim, don't ever read the chat boards because I don't want you to quit being a Sioux fan. "SiouxSports.com, driving fans away from the Sioux for 10 years" -- it should be our new motto. Quote
crosby_87 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 that fabian song should win a grammy That made me laugh so hard. Quote
SiouxPride0303 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 That made me laugh so hard. Oh...wow... Quote
redwing77 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Thanks PCM. I thought what was said was valuable. I thought Swygman was, once again, wholly unnecessary and, should he miss a broadcast, wouldn't be missed at all... skier? WTF? Anyways, good luck boys!!!! Quote
PCM Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 I find it interesting that so many people call into the show when the team is enjoying success to say that they'd never lost faith in the coaches or players. Interestingly enough, when the team wasn't playing so well a few months ago, there'd be shows when not a single person called in. Quote
dagies Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 TH: Do you agree with Don Lucia about Holy Cross Quote
forecheck Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Some very funny comments in that show. I especially liked the caller who was trying to entice Drew to stay by listing upcoming attractions in GF....a dog park, very nice. Thanks PCM! Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Drew is such a character. The whole time he was on the show he was basically feeding TH and Swyg's delirium... Good egg though! I really wish they would've spend more time talking about Boston College. That's the game I'm interested in. Quote
PCM Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 Drew is such a character. I liked his "it's all about me" line. I thought about including that part, but it was one of those things you had to hear to appreciate. And some people probably would have taken it seriously. Quote
kfah1 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Thanks PCM. Great recap as always! I really enjoy reading what Coach Hakstol and the players have to say. Great team, great bunch of guys. Moxy... there's a word I haven't heard used in awhile... Quote

I really wish they would've spend more time talking about Boston College. That's the game I'm interested in. I love the relaxed, humor displayed on this show. Makes me think of the team as being along the same vein. Good way to head out to the FF. Quote
ScottM Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 "SiouxSports.com, driving fans away from the Sioux for 10 years" -- it should be our new motto. Yes, God forbid Sioux fans expect their team to win every game they play. Thanks again, Pat. Quote
jimdahl Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I find it interesting that so many people call into the show when the team is enjoying success to say that they'd never lost faith in the coaches or players. Interestingly enough, when the team wasn't playing so well a few months ago, there'd be shows when not a single person called in. No kidding. I've been tempted to argue this point in some of the "told you so" threads dredged up in recent weeks, but is there really so much nobility in not complaining when the team is slumping? When the team is getting swept at home by lesser talent, fans are going to be upset about it and discuss it. I just don't see how that now creates a "told you so" moment for those who only show up when things are going well. Everyone wanted the team to turn around and be playing well in March, I might even argue that those who bothered to continue discussing the team during a slump wanted it more! Quote
PCM Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 When the team is getting swept at home by lesser talent, fans are going to be upset about it and discuss it. Based on his comments last night, I think Dave Hakstol understands that as well as anyone. Quote
GBpakrzz Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 That made me laugh so hard. I listened to it as well. I'm clearly getting old.... Quote

Which I find funny they have talked about a dog park for a couple of years now and I have yet to see any evidence of them even having a location to host a dog park. Does anyone know where they intend putting a dog park? Dakota asks me everyday when this is going to happen. Quote

PCM Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 I am all for it then. Let the construction begin immediately. Are your initials DS? Are you a first-round draft choice of the Buffalo Sabres? Because unless that's the case, what you want doesn't matter. It's all about Drew. Quote
