Actually my dog answers to many names (most of which can't be posted here on this forum) but we are sticking with Dakota as his primary name. Imagine my surprise when I moved into Ottawa last summer and found out that my neighbors had named their Black Lab, Dakota Sioux. It turned out they didn't know a thing about the hockey team but fell in love with the state during one of their many motorcycle tours.
