I am fine with anyone in the B1G winning as long as it isn't Minnesota.

I used to be fine with the NCHC parochialism, but it's become SEC esque tribalism. There are NCHC schools I'm fine with, others I dislike. Denver ranges somewhere in the middle for me, respect their success and program as a whole, but their deep runs have gotten annoying to me, don't want them to win another. I want Michigan tonight

Denver is able to recruit how they want to without significant fan/alum pressure to recruit local kids. There just aren't many high level hockey players produced in Colorado, so Denver just goes out and finds best fit. Tends to be regional recruiting, but Carle has found the right kids who are willing to grind & play his team first style

Yep, I hate Denver. It isn’t because of enmity rather it is envy of their success.

The Gila River arena is in the worst part of town. Put an arena in a better part of town and hockey can work in the desert. Going to games in Glendale is a headache, imo.

I’ll be cheering for Wisconsin regardless of opponent, Michigan hasn’t won in 28 years. Wouldn’t be the end of the world.  Denver is just winning too much and I’d like that to stop.
