Unbelievable that the committee actually went strictly by the NPI. The only teams they had to swap were Wisconsin and Cornell so Cornell didn't play Dartmouth in the first round. Of course, I would have wished that Denver and Western weren't in the same bracket but for bracket integrity you need to have 4/5 in the same together.

Providence won their one and only championship in  2015.  They had the regional in Providence even though they were not the host team and then won it in Boston which is 50 miles from Providence. Whereas they think Sioux Falls is in our backyard or 320 miles away. What a whiner!

The NCAA did reward Merrimack for winning Hockey East.  By allowing them to be in the actual tourney.  Otherwise they wouldn't have made it.
