Just divide the p 4 from  g whatever 

‘let each group decide their playoff system

only let the g teams play fcs teams so the big dogs need to play only big dogs and all games to be done by Jan 1st

Now did they lose games they coulda shoulda won? Sure. Agreed on that 100%. But make no mistake, this exposed a really major flaw in the system.

By not being in a Conference they was always relying on the Committee to give them an at large bid. 

Probably right about the reason Miami got in.  Nothing was final until Sunday.  The Committee can change there mind up until that time.

The P4 would probably want to ban all G6 schools from being eligible for the playoff at all. That ain't happening either. Nor should it.

Notre Dame probably thinks they should get special treatment like they did in the Bowl Coalition/Bowl Alliance/BCS era. That ain't happening either. Nor should it.

People will probably continue to pretend that Ohio and Ohio State belong in the same subdivision. But that doesn't make it true.

If the P4 doesn't like G6 schools crashing "their" party, they should just do what they have threatened to do for several years: Set up their own subdivision. Until then, stop the griping.

They don’t need special treatment. At some point all the P4 schools/conferences should tell Notre Dame get in a conference or no CFP. 

No 3 loss teams should be in the playoffs BYU (11-2) should be in and Alabama should be out.

Why do they deserve special treatment? What makes them more or less important than the other blue bloods? This is one of the reasons why people don't like Notre Dame. They think the whole world revolves around them and it doesn't.

What's next, guaranteeing them a playoff spot if they have a winning record? Or maybe guaranteeing them a bowl game regardless of their record? Or maybe I shouldn't be giving anyone any ideas?

There is maybe 5 or 6 bluebloods. Notre Dame isn't more important than the others. If Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Alabama, or USC want to go independent, I'm sure rules would be put in place to address that as well. 

There are plenty of reasons people don't like Notre Dame. The world revolving around them isn't one of them, no matter what people try to claim lmao.
