And it's not like hes 160 lbs. I would seriously consider using a guy like Erick Paye as a Quincy Vaughn-type short yardage QB. Anybody who ever watched him hoop knows what kind of an athlete he is, and he's up to 250 pounds now. 1 2 Quote

Hell, if you want a big local kid to do it have Kuntz. Quote

What about Caden Dennis (he's taken some lumps on SS, but he had a good game earlier, too)? And Deng Deng proved very effective last week. Now that Ziebarth is back, maybe we can amp up both the run and passing game. Realistically, good teams should be able to cover 80 yards in 7-10 plays, before you risk something adverse. You can't do that without some chunks. Yeah, our RBs may break into the secondary every once in a while, but ultimately you need a balanced attack, with the 10-20 yard pass plays giving you 1st & 10 as you march down the field. 1 Quote

We have quality players that are being under-utilized and it'd be great to see something different on more occasions and give oppose D coordinators more to think about. Quote

Maybe we knew all along that our SOS would get us into the playoffs, so we ran questionable/vanilla stuff all season, and now that we're in the postseason with all players available, Ike is about unleash the beast. One can hope, right?! Quote

Back in January/February I suggested we take a TE and work him into the Quincy role. Or if any other big body position guy that maybe used to play QB or RB in HS that was comfortable carrying the ball. Wouldn't want any botched snaps on a crucial 4th and goal from the 1. After how successful Q was, and the stupid Eagles at the tush push....I thought it was strange more teams didn't come up with something. Or heck even if you did it with Jerry, have a TE and/or FB right behind him that can push him through the pile. 1 Quote

Is Hromadka hurt? I think I saw #84 jersey on a guy in street clothes on the sideline Saturday. Quote
