If Sheyenne wins they are the #3, if Davies wins they are the #4. Why does Shanley get the 3 over Sheyenne? WF Sheyenne finished higher than Shanley in the regular season standings? Quote

Wilbur Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM So: Sheyenne vs Minot Red River vs Jamestown Central vs Century Legacy vs Shanley Punchers chance for the west in two of them. Central against Century could be like the last Central-Shanley game. 1 Quote

Will find out on Thursday. I'll take a East sweep again but who knows. Minot, however did play a structured game today and I believe their SR Captain Richeson has to sit out game one for a dumb 5 and a game in the championship today. Shanley makes state 1st year back. Minot goes back to back WDA titles in a watered down conference. Shocking... Quote

Sheyenne hasn't scored a ton lately, both teams with good young goaltenders. I think 3-2 either way seems likely. Quote

Wilbur Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago I'll say.... Sheyenne 3-1 Red River 6-1 Central 8-0 Shanley 4-1 Semis the Grand Forks schools roll. Red River gets over the hump and beats Central Saturday night. Could be more OT. 1 Quote

Sheyenne has been mediocre at best since the new year began, I wouldn't give them an automatic win on Thursday just because they are facing a west team. Minot is a decent team and could very well be the lone western team to win. Quote

In no way automatic for Sheyenne, I'll just pick them because Minot without one of their better players Thursday. 1 Quote
Johnny Five Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I agree I think the Minot-Sheyenne and Shanley-Legacy will both be low scoring, tight games. Legacy is 0-6 in State Tournaments overall, not that it affects this team, but would be nice to see a win. Legacy PP operating at 26% could make a different, Minot shut that down on Saturday. Quote
