bigmrg74 Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Congrats to all the players who got drafted, except for Clarett. And an extra big congratulations goes out to the D2 players who did get the call today. Todd Herremans SVSU Joe Berger MTU LeRon McCoy IUP Harry Williams Tuskegee Keyonta Marshall GVSU Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 you can post that junk on your website, could care less here at siouxsports Quote
BisonMav Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I see Bowenkamp was signed as a Free Agent by the Viking. Quote
BigGame Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 you can post that junk on your website, could care less here at siouxsports <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Speak for yourself, I certainly don't want you speaking for me as a member of the Siouxsports message board. Quote
UND-1 Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I see Bowenkamp was signed as a Free Agent by the Viking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is nuts! I never even knew he was considered a prospect. Congratulations to John and good luck!! Quote
PCM Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Here's the article from today's Grand Forks Herald on Bowenkamp signing with the Vikings. Quote
jimdahl Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Wow, nice for Bowenkamp. I had heard he went to tryouts, but nice to see him get a shot. A draftee from North Dakota, ex-Cavalier High/NDSU player, Rob Hunt, was drafted as a center for the Colts. Quote

tnt Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 you can post that junk on your website, could care less here at siouxsports <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please do not presume to speak for everyone, as I am interested to see how we stack up with other leagues draftwise. If he was writing to flame, I could understand, but it was informative, not a flame. Quote
UND92,96 Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I would think Chris Kuper would have a decent shot at being drafted next year. Digger should at least get a shot as a free agent, as could Glas. Quote
sports4life Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 That is nuts! I never even knew he was considered a prospect. Congratulations to John and good luck!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was considered a sleeper pick by the nfl draft blitz crew, if you didn't know Tom Brady and Terrell Davis were also sleeper picks probably won't happen for john but they said the same thing about these two? Quote
spfreak Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I realize that he isn't as much of a standout as Digger, but because of his size could Bransted get a shot somewhere. For a safety he is about the perfect size that the NFL likes (6'3 220-230ish) Quote
Cratter Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 read my post again, I never said I spoke for everyone. hmmm <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You realize you put "you can" instead of "can you"? I assume bigmrg74 knows he can post "that junk" on "his website" without you telling him he can. I agree with others that this information is not junk, and I'm glad he posted it here (and because it opened up discussion of the NFL draft & Bowenkamp situation). BigGame is right in assuming you spoke for everyone using "siouxsports" and never the word "I". Quote
BIGSIOUX Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 ditto, kinda of sick of hearing about who has the best looking older sister...is it zajac or parise??? by the way...i met B BO's sis, she is fine Quote
bincitysioux Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Congratulations to Bowenkamp, I think that is awesome. I have only been following UND football since the late 90's when I went to UND, but I personally think that he is the best quarterback to have played for North Dakota. He is a pure pocket passer and has all the physical tools that a quarterback should. Even though the Vikings are my 32nd favorite team in the NFL, I will follow them more closely now, and I hope that John can have the opportunity to make the team. Good luck, Bow!! Quote
SiouxMeNow Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I agree it was better news for DII football than the GLIAC in general (after all - we made Ferris, MTU and okay, I'll say it...GVSU our biatches last season - even with all those NFL Prospects!) Back off the monster...and for gods sake don't hook up your jumper cables to those bolts....that's all I gotta say!! Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Ohh, I find it so cuTe that CRR replied to my/our message but quickly deleted it! Yeah I saw it....Why did you delete it (not you Monster but CRR)? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very mature statement I deleted it, because when I realize I had written something that was out of haste, I thought it would be better to just delete it. Is that a good enough reason? Quote

CoteauRinkRat Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Congrats to Rob Hunt, it is always great for a North Dakota kid to get drafted and play in the NFL. Good luck to him and Bowenkamp Quote
