We just gave an extension to a coach that doesnt know how to use him. This isn't a day in age where coaches can make an example of a player to teach him a life lesson. To easy to move on to a coach that will use his talent. Reggie is gone next year. Play A3 show we want him for the future! Quote

They should have been able to do some self reflection sometime in the last 3 years and realized they weren’t D1 players. I don’t know any of them personally so don’t know if they are happy or not. There was a lot of delusion all the way around with respect to the Bismarck fellas.. the UND coaches were the only people in the country that thought they were D1 players. It was quite the discussion at all of the high school games their senior year. All of the NDSU fans were pumped. I really am amazed that they stuck around.. I would have assumed they wanted to play. Maybe pre transfer portal era it would have worked out for them but most kids are better off going somewhere they will play even if they have eventual D1 dreams. Quote

UND92,96 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Keep in mind that Kraft, Erikson and Doppler are all ND kids who came in the same year. Erikson and Doppler on scholarship, and Kraft as a PWO. Kraft carved out a niche for himself, and the others haven't been able to. It happens. Hopefully they can succeed at the division II level at Mary or Minot or Jamestown. 1 Quote
UND92,96 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Moore set the all-time MN record for career assists last night. I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do here. Quote

Kab Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago A3 is good but his ego gets in his way make a good play get back on defense and quit show boating remember smith from the Vikings, he would make a touchdown and hand the ball to the ref he didn’t need to showboat in the end zone, he always said he would be in the end zone again 1 Quote

Also anyone that would leave because their feeling got hurt by being benched, I wouldn't want on my team. He's a great player with a great future and hope he sticks around, but if not than it is probably for the better. Quote
coachdags Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Players read too many messages boards and social media… They don’t like hearing the truth. Players, Play, Coaches, Coach! When they all get in same page we WIN! Never met a player yet that didn’t think he was better than he really was! Quote

He’s playing against low level competition right now so hard to tell for sure but I was under the impression that if he would have stuck out at the prep school he went to for a bit last year, we likely wouldn’t have had a shot at him. Kab Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Weight room and coaching can change a kid in a hurry also playing against players that have been here for awhile seen Evanson on tv and he looks the part, haven’t seen the big kid play, Hanson ? are they both scholarship players ? Quote

Yes. Both also had NDSU offers. I know the story out of Fargo is that they backed off Evanson when Max Iversen committed, but they offered Hanson shortly after UND did this past summer, and very shortly thereafter he committed to UND. So this is definitely not like the Erikson/Doppler situation in that regard. Evanson and Hanson played on the same AAU team this past summer. Quote
UND92,96 Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago Here's a recent article about Hanson, and it explains why his time at the prep school was cut short: https://www.kfyrtv.com/2026/01/22/servpro-athlete-week-tgus-sage-hanson/ Quote
