Who Do you think in the NCHC is our biggest rivals?

Who do you think is our biggest rivals in the NCHC? I was just curious to hear your thoughts.  My guess is either Omaha, St.Cloud or Duluth.

Denver and it's not close. In order, IMO:

1) Denver
2) DISTANT second, UMD
3) Omaha
4) Clown
5) CC
6) Western
7) ASU
8) Miami

Looking forward to Omaha dropping on this ranking. Also the sooner St Thomas climbs the rankings, the better for our recruiting in the cities.

Mostly agree with this order.  Depending on how good UMD is, they may creep up to just regular second place, not distant.  I would also switch the order of Omaha and St. Cloud.  ASU and WMU have the potential to take over spots 3 and 4, IMO, if they keep their programs projecting upwards.

Great list. There have been times where UMD has been much closer 2nd and maybe even 1st for a while around 2017-2021 but that was temporary. I think with how much Omaha and St Cloud fans hate us and allow us to live rent-free in their heads makes it really fun to beat them.

could look it up but sometimes they are guessing........will the st thomas game(s) be at the penny?  Yes, I was on that side of town in Feb and construction was well underway.  It will be a nice facility.  is constrution on target "it was delayed because of neighborhood complaints.  But that has been resolved.  Parking is going to be a challenge.  if your ever biking by the site snap some pics.  Later this summer I will take some pics.

Note:  This year's game is at the Xcel Center.

haha i started all this confusion...i thought st thomas was joing the nchc this season and was wondering if there rink would be ready this fall...

To CC, next to Denver I bet they’d say UND is their biggest NCHC rival. They’re still talking about the 4 game sweep of UND from two seasons ago. I think there’s even talk of hanging a banner to commemorate the achievement.
