Producing at younger ages in the NCAA matters because it's much more impressive. Hage (2006) had a more impressive season than Hughes (2001) on the same team. The only argument against Wyttenbach (2007) is the ECAC is weak/sucks and he stat padded against weaker teams. Don't know what his non conference splits were. I'd still have above Hughes, but Hage ahead of Wyttenbach. 10G, 12 A in 16 OOC games. Except for Notre Dame and UND, all opponents were AHA and HEA. 15 G, 22 A in ECAC play Quote
atxsioux Posted Friday at 05:56 PM Posted Friday at 05:56 PM Asked Mike McMahon if the extension was caused by a Big 10 team probing around but he hasn't heard anything regarding that. I'm cool with Penn State sticking with Gadowsky by all means hahah. Don't see them as a dangerous title contender until he's not behind their0 bench. That style of play he insists on coaching lead to them beating pretty much 0 high end teams this year if you go through their schedule. Quote

Not even close IMO. I can respect that but I would take Oliver and Herter over any of those. 1 Quote

atxsioux Posted Monday at 07:20 PM Posted Monday at 07:20 PM Agreed with above logic - would like to see them do that for events + add "protected" non-conference rivalry 2 game series as exempt. (IE - UND vs Gophers, Denver vs BC, UND vs BU) Quote

thUNDer Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Larson announced staff of like 6. Is that legal in NCAA Quote

UMass becoming a fairly consistent contender in Hockey East, Wisconsin back up & in the mix, Arizona State while inconsistent, is starting to recruit better & better talent, and Northern Michigan a team in the region who I'd like to see be more competitive again Quote
brianvf Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago If it's true that all these SCSU players are following Larson to UMN, SCSU might be in the hurt locker next season for the NCHC race. Quote

Would be interesting to see how many are following Larson. Losing any of Burnevik, Thoreson, Hall, Henricks, Urness, Roed, Miettinen, Loftus, Berzins, Shostak plus recruits like Souch, Sivertson, & Stengrim would really hurt the Huskies. Quote

There was a post on GPL that said currently UMN has 12 returning forwards, 6 possible incoming forward recruits, and 3 possible forwards coming from SCSU. Doing some quick math, that's 21 potential forwards for next year. Larson is gonna have to cut a pile of players or delay a bunch of them (which might lead to more decommits). Gonna be a real interesting portal season to watch. Quote

Others like Townsend, Clark, Ludtke, Pahlsson would be darkhorses to enter, but also wouldn't surprise me. 1 Quote
