That sucked. Idk what’s going to happen other than it sounds pretty apparent that Trey is transferring. I am thinking that Sather hasn’t coached his last game at UND. I still think there could be a chance he says enough and goes home and takes the Northern job back but I don’t think he’s being fired.

Good take here on Sather.  Trey is 100% gone, this I have heard on several fronts.

It's going to be an interesting decision. I think Sather will be given the opportunity to come back for the final year of his contract, but with the understanding that another extension won't be forthcoming without major improvements. So even with a probable pay cut, is he better off with the security of a multi-year deal at someplace like Northern? My guess is yes, and he leaves on his own. I still think he's a pretty good coach. It just hasn't worked out here.

Maybe I missed your point ? What do you mean by am I sure about that?  That if hockey was at the bottom of a bottom league that people wouldn't stand for it ?  When they aren't happy now with a team that is #18 in the whole country ?

If Eaglestaff transfers:  King, Panaom, Mara, Woodson, and Kraft would be the returners that got minutes this year. Thomas played a bit but fell out of the rotation. This is assuming everyone else stays. 

Kraft won’t be ready to start or play big minutes IMO (Sather loves him so he will, Danielson 2.0…) Like every offseason it seems, I will once again be saying that UND needs a true PG and a big.

for the record UND hockey hasn’t won anything in 9 years and has one tourney win in that time.  I would say the hockey groupies are quite lenient.

I think Micah Curtis is the better of the twins? He looks capable of being an impact player right away. He reminds me a bit of Marquel Sutton. He’s a forward though so doesn’t fill PG or Center position

I really like Panoam but I don't see him as a true point guard.  I believe that Thomas was supposed to be that true point guard and it never happened.
