Don't get me wrong, I've gotten a bench minor or two in my day, but you are on that much of an emotional rollercoaster that you can't hold it together as a spectator of a game. We love our kids, we support them, but its way out of hand now. Last week at the WF sports arena in the Squirt C International (emphasis on squirt C), I overheard a dad from Bismarck say he was going to make a call on Monday and these officials "would never work another game". Mind you, this was the #4 losers bracket 3rd and 4th place game......USA hockey begs, and I mean begs people to try and stay calm.....and its only gotten worse. I ran the box of a consolation round Squirt C game a few weekends ago and I thought I was going to get shanked for accidentally making the score 3-1 instead of 2-1 for probably a full 15 seconds. I instantly realized I added 2 goals instead of 1 and was working on fixing it and about got bull rushed by the coaches and fans . I'm doing a few 10U girls game this weekend, and I might wear kevlar. People are friggin nuts. Quote

From someone who was at the game it was the Williston's coaches wife who got the boot. Classy Quote

Johnny Five Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Listening to livebarn you can sort of hear what's going on. Not the best audio but it sounds like "go home" followed by a "do your f*&king job." This was with about 3 minutes left in the game and Williston down 5-1 after a blast to a LHS players dome. There was some other heckling going on as well.... They're having a hard time finding ref to work up in Williston for obvious reasons, rumor on the street is Andy Carton will be there Saturday for Willy and Mandan. This should probably get put on PSP hahahaha. 2 Quote

I have officiated mites to college since 97 - last game I’ve done was around 2020 or so - I can honestly say I do not miss it. Quote
