I think GFRR will be fine scoring, they'll have enough depth to be right there. Wilbur Posted Friday at 08:59 PM Posted Friday at 08:59 PM Watching EGF and RR. What happened to Werre for RR? Thought he'd be the guy this year. Quote
Johnny Five Posted Saturday at 01:31 PM Posted Saturday at 01:31 PM 2 entertaining games at the VFW in Bismarck last night. WF over Century 7-5, North over Legacy 3-2. Fun night at the rink, people got their money's worth. There was a nice old school scrum at the end of the North/Legacy with 11 seconds left game too. Veteran move by the officials...took one guy from each side and called it a day. Quote
Wilbur Posted Saturday at 04:42 PM Posted Saturday at 04:42 PM EDC may be more open than I thought. Lets see how Central plays against EGF today. Quote
Johnny Five Posted Sunday at 04:19 AM Posted Sunday at 04:19 AM Couple more good games out west today. Legacy over WF 4-3 in OT. Mattern is definitely explosive. North over Mandan 3-2. Went to both games, both were basically even on game play. Mandan showed they outshot North by a bit but I felt North had a slight edge in possession. Quote
Wilbur Posted Sunday at 03:17 PM Posted Sunday at 03:17 PM Tuesday night will be interesting as Central and WF meet at Purper. WF can definitely score, but will they be able to hold Central under 5 or 6? Other games of interest include Davies @ Sheyenne. Sheyenne was ahead of Roseau in the third period Saturday before the Rams scored three to win it. Quote

Curious how those turn out after North and WF trips west last weekend. Also curious to see what kind of run Mandan can give Minot out west. 9 games on the boys side on Tuesday, busy night. 5 games on the girls side that night as well. 1 Quote
Wilbur Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What a night of hockey around the state. With the web cams it's easy to follow it all. RR beat North 8-7 in OT. RR has goalie problems I'm told. Central beat WFHS 9-2. WFHS looking for a goalie too. Sheyenne beat Davies 5-4. Fun game to watch. Minot beat Mandan 7-0. The magi have a chance to be playing Saturday night in Grand Forks in February. Those were the ones I followed. I saw Williston was ahead of Dickinson and Devils Lake beat Grafton. Quote

Jamestown was tied with Legacy 2-2 with less than 4 to go in third and took a 5 min major, then scored shorthanded, and killed the remaining penalty time to upset the Sabers, who beat WF in OT last Saturday.
