Sioux-cia Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 They're gonna score if we can't stay out of the box. one minute Quote
U2Bad1 Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 6 power plays to none?? what the heck is going on here.. is BC really playing that clean and UND playing that dirty?? Quote
farce poobah Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 6 power plays to none?? what the heck is going on here.. is BC really playing that clean and UND playing that dirty?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BC is fast, fast fast. I am not complaining about any of the penalties on the Sioux. The marble is, however, in the pocket ... and I hope we can draw a couple ... The good news is our PK is dominating so far. It simply does not get any better. Quote
dakotadan Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Great first period, EXCEPT FOR ALL THE PENALTY CALLS!! Quote
Sioux-cia Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Are they really less physical and that's why we're getting more penalties. I saw a few minutes of the Goofers game and they were really hitting Maine with No penalties! Quote
farce poobah Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I've only seen Schnieder in goal 3 times, against Belarus in the WJ, yesterday against Mercyhurst, and tonight. Is this just further evidence that eastern hockey is not as great as the media hype, can he just not deal with the big game, or is he just a funnel? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All 3 were good goals. BC defense was porous and asleep on all 3. If Schneider had saved any of them it would have been a highlight film save. Quote
Sioux fan since '90 Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 greene's last penalty was a cheap call <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What can you do when there's good acting involved? Quote
jloos Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 That last penalty was a flagrant dive. Hopefully the refs will wise up and give some diving or unsportsmanlike penalties. The Sioux PK has been great, but something has to give eventually. Their goal for the 2nd period should be to have 5 skaters on the ice for at least half the period. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Good News, the Cornell game is over and my channel has switched to the Sioux Game. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 BC fans packing it in on their board. "Its all over" "Maybe next year" "Utterly horrible" "Another poor performance in a big game?" "2 goals on 5 shots, is Cory in net again?" Quote

It may be a dive, but its been consistently called holding in the tourney. We REALLY need to play some 5x5, if only to get the Horses more ice time. Quote
sprig Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Keep those great updates coming. Throught the terrible feed did I hear that Radke is playing. If so this is great experience for his Sioux future. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, Radke was out at least once. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Great tribute to Robbie by Hak and in the locker room Quote
sprig Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 That last penalty was a flagrant dive. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know the way Shegos (is it him again?) is making calls against the Sioux the BC diving game will be in full swing for the remainder of the game. Who got the first Sioux penalty; certainly wasn't Marvin was it, TV didn't show it, and didn't tell us who it was. I was sure it was going against Alberts, who gave Marvin a two hand shot to the face, the continued the beating down on the ice. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 You know the way Shegos (is it him again?) is making calls against the Sioux the BC diving game will be in full swing for the remainder of the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At the same time, BC hasn't had a penalty. The calls became pretty even last night. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Other interesting reffing tidbit is that Campion reffed the BC/Mercyhurst game and called something like 19 penalties. Just goes to show you that the WCHA told the refs to swallow their whistles. Quote
sprig Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 At the same time, BC hasn't had a penalty. The calls became pretty even last night. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wouldn't count on even up with the Sioux up by 3. Quote
