I think I’ve been relegated to sleeping downstairs in the guest room tonight. With about 15 minutes to play in the third, I proclaimed that CC had this game in hand. CC collapsed down the stretch before settling for a 5-4 overtime win but my wife is none too happy with me.

Veinbergs got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for pointing at the scoreboard, which gave Miami a 5x3 PP.
Miami scored on that to cut it to 4-2 and then they scored 2 more in the next couple minutes to tie it.

So dumb Veinbergs. Shouldn’t have done that. I see him working at the arena every Sunday night when I have my beer league game at Robson. I’m going to have to give him some grief about that.

Denver is barely at .500 since their undefeated streak ended. It's at least within the realm of possibility.
