True and truthfully it’s good exposure for Minot St. I know they are saying they aren’t looking to go D1 but you gotta believe it’s on the back burner

Minot would go D1 if any big Minot donor steps up to fund it. No one in Minot apparently cares enough to pony up the $$$$$. Just like UNDFootball Fan…. All talk ….. no $$$$$

Minot’s actually playing pretty well in the second. They scored a nice goal short side.

They need to compact it in a bit more.  I get it's an exhibition, but you aren't going to match up defensively with them.

CC’s best player Laba just took an elbow to the head as he was going down. And to me, this is why you don’t schedule games like this. Not sure what the upside is if you’re CC.

If that Army score holds, that will provide a nice boost to our PWR.

The UNH goalie had 8 saves and 5 goals allowed in the 6-3 Army win over UNH (Army with an ENG as well).  :D

Miami not doing the NCHC teams any favors in the PWR by losing to #57 Niagara.

BU takes the #1 PWR spot away from Maine after their win tonight...Maine is now #2.

ASU sure likes to live dangerously...seems that they frequently fall behind to these lower ranked teams and then find a way to come back to win.  They're #16 in the PWR now, but if they start to lose a couple of these games, they're gonna fall pretty quickly.

ASU has Cornell 3 times this year

This was really cool to see at the end of the game. CC Tiger Nikolai Charchenko and the Minot head coach embraced and took some photos. Charchenko played his junior hockey for the Minot Minotauros. The Minot coach is also the goalie coach for them.

So many connections in the game of hockey. That’s really cool

So true.

And the assistant coach for Minot State, David Zimmerman was my pee wee coach in Grand Forks way back in the late 80’s! He has a very distinguished career as a player and a coach for the U.S. hearing impaired national team. Born and raised in Minot, he coached in Devils Lake for many years. Cool seeing him all these years later.
