I thought Johnson and Bast both stepped up mightily with Sandy out. Hopefully someone does the same in the forward group.

Winning doesn’t move us up much if anything in the PWR but losing one or both would really, really hurt.

Yep, they'd be killers. With that said, things are REEAALLY tight 9-15, so winning this game coupled with a couple losses around us is a big deal.

CC is never an easy out for UND, they always play fast and tough.
UND really needs these wins this weekend, but the injuries and Olympics aren't helping them out too much.

It was a couple months ago, but CC did not appear to be a very good team when UND played in Colorado Springs in December. Things could have changed since then, but if that CC team that I saw in December shows up this weekend, then even with injury problems, UND is sweeping.

People who know me out in Colorado always incredulously ask how I could possibly root against my alma mater when they play UND. I tell them I bleed green ALWAYS and if they have to ask, they probably wouldn’t understand what it means to be a North Dakota fan.
