Smoggy Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Bowemcamp will start. No defined back up for this game. Quote
Smoggy Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 Behrn's said they just got ready for the best QB. He doesn't even know which one it is. What kind of craziness is that. I'm guessing in his own way he's saying that he prepared for all three. Quote
FlorenceFan Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Come on guys..win out..I want to see you back in AL. Quote
Smoggy Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 UNO marched on us pretty well on the first drive. Penalties hurt them and they only got a FG. Looks like UNO will be doing more passing today. Quote
jimdahl Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 UND finally started moving the ball, got down to the 30, and then went for it on a 4th and 8 -- result? Bowenkamp sacked. Doh. At least they got a couple 1st downs and got the D off the field for a while. The UND announcers already said once, "No one has moved the ball against the Sioux like the Mavericks just did at any point in any game this season". Near the end of the 1st, still 3-0 UNO. Dressler just returned a punt 70 yds to the 3 yd-line. First big play of the day for the Sioux. Quote
Smoggy Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 Great return for the Sioux. Penalty declined on UNO. First and goal from the 3. Quote
Smoggy Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 70 yard punt return. UND's special teams had the first big play. Quote
Diggler Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Bowencamp completed a TD to Johnson on 3rd down for the SIoux to take the 7-3 lead. Then the Sioux defense stops UNO and gets the ball back. Quote
Csonked Out Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 39 yeard field goal by the sioux, 10-3 UND Quote

bigmrg74 Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 I'm just giving FF a little *Shibby* because he's said the same thing over on GVfootball.com. Too bad there can only be one this year. Quote
FlorenceFan Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 What?? I can't root a bit for both? Either school would be welcome again this year..too bad it can't work out for a re-match. Quote

Cratter Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Where's Digger Anderson? I haven't heard his name much. Quote
Csonked Out Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 touchdown by donovan alexander on a punt block by UND!!!!!!! all tied up at 17 Quote
Smoggy Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 Why are we throwing so much? Bo hasn't been that accurate. Quote
jimdahl Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Wow -- Day got his big breakout run of the day, 72 yds for a TD, bringing his total for the day up to about 160. Hopefully that's his ONE big run of the day. It would be nice if UND took a lead eventually instead of playing catchup. I'd like to see the offense drive down the field for a touchdown at some point in this game. Oh, well, special teams will have another opportunity soon So far, this just doesn't feel like the formula for a win; thankfully they're still in the game so have a chance to turn it around. 24-17 Mavs Quote
sprig Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 UNO sounds like a much better team both sides of the ball. Sioux just do not have a championship caliber offense. Quote
