To be eligible to be listed the player must have appeared* in one NHL game during the 2021-22 season and have played college hockey (on the ice for official NCAA game) for the University of North Dakota. NHL Opening Night is Tuesday October 12. The roster filling commences then. *Goaltenders get special dispensation: If they dress and sit on the NHL bench as the backup for a game it counts. Chairman of Ownership Group: Mark Chipman (WPG, honorary, Mark didn't play hockey at UND, he played football at UND) Co-Head Coach: Dave Tippett (EDM) Co-Head Coach: Dave Hakstol (SEA) Sr. Director of Player Development: Ryan Johnson (VAN) Jay Caufield works as an analyst on Penguins Pregame & Postgame on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh. Troy Murray has been doing Chicago radio color on WGN since about 2003. (Not sure if he'll be on this season given his diagnosis, but he's here this season for the good vibes.)
