tnt Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Not nearly as bad as the Minnesota player that tripped the St. Cloud guy then was waiting for a penalty and when none was called they scored the winning goal. From the front on view you can see him obstruct him with his arm, but the other angle you don’t know if the guy is embellishing to draw a penalty. The ref looked like he was in a good position to view it, and a lot of times refs will just call the penalty when they see it produced a breakaway just to be safe rather than sorry. An embellishment doesn’t seem plausible in a scenario where a guy is going to have a breakaway. Mr. Bean certainly should be upset. Quote
