Yeah, I remember back in early 2007 when the auctions were at the Ralph. The first home regular season weekend there was a white Genoway and a green Watkins used. I could have won the Genoway for $375, but instead bid on, and won, the Watkins for $400. At the time, Chay wasn't what he ended up becoming, and Watkins seemed to have a much brighter future, being an NHL draft pick and all. I wanted a Bina but when one come up for auction the same guy bought it. His daughter was totally infatuated with Robbie. My son played little guy hockey, high school hockey and football with him. Unfortunately I was just graduating and didn't have the funds. I remember thinking it was ridiculous to need more than one jersey (now I have upwards of 30). I bought my first two in 2009 and they were both in the low $300s. My biggest regret is not purchasing a Ben Blood at the Ralph when he was a freshman. Obviously they realized later that they couldn't sell jerseys of current players. I believe his jersey went for $400 or $500 that night. Did they have any rhyme or reason as to how they made those decisions? Also, how do you know when a jersey was used for multiple years instead of just one year?
