Yes.  It was an unofficial visit though.
I never heard if Crosby visited other colleges or not.

I've heard this before, and I still think the same way. As much as I hate Crosby now, I would have liked him had he come to UND. So, I think it worked out for the best

The only reason Crosby didn’t attend UND was the Canadian major team offered his parents a certain percent of home ticket sale revenue and since mom and dad werent in the best place financially they accepted the offer.  Right from Berry himself after a few beers! If I recall correctly this changed some rules on how things were ran up north.

Correct. Sid received $1 for every ticket sold while he played MJ .
