farce poobah Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Toronto. They have the world's best goaltender. Belfour gets 3rd shutout of Ottawa Quote
tboneund Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Toronto! Steady Eddie proves he's not washed up...and that great players aren't always drafted! Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 I voted for Colorado, but my heart wants Toronto. Quote
#1siouxfan22 Posted April 17, 2004 Author Posted April 17, 2004 3 people said they voted avs but theres only 2 votes on it Quote

Ruffian Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Until they showed me how they'd play against the Devils the Flyers concerned me. Not any more. Zhamnov may be the ingredient they have been missing. Quote
redwing77 Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Tampa looks solid to me. They have all the ingredients including chemistry. Detroit has experience and goalscorers, but they are not infallible. Just look at the trouble they are having with Nashville. Quote
Goon Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Boston I like your thinking. Tonight is the hand shake game between Montreal and Boston. Well I should say that I hope it is. Quote
Fedorov Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Take a guess who I voted for. Elizabeth After reading the other post, I would guess the North Stars. Quote
Goon Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 *shakes head* The Stars are looking like they are involved in the handshake game as the Av's are up 3-1. Not looking good. Devils are tied with Philly 1-1... Quote
Goon Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 (edited) New Jersey down 2-1. No Zach. Sid Hartman had said that Parise might play this weekend, but we know how accurate Sid can be. Mark these teams off your list. St Louis Gone New York Islanders Gone Habs (will be gone). New Jersey Devils Gone Dallas Stars Gone Edited April 17, 2004 by Goon Quote

#1siouxfan22 Posted April 17, 2004 Author Posted April 17, 2004 Avs win!!! Forsberg 3 points on to round 2 Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Boooo!!! The only good thing about the Avs winning is the Stars losing. Tampa Bay will win the SC...Matin St. Louis cannot be stopped. Fedorov...the North Stars are serious contenders this year, in fact I think they'll make it to the Cup Finals.....what?...wait a minute...what do you mean it's not 1991 anymore? Quote
Ruffian Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 I agree I wish they would have let Zach play. Philly made the NJ Devils goaltender look like swish cheese. Wouldn't say Brodeur was swiss cheese and Zach wouldn't have made a difference. The Devils defense was weaker than in the past and Brodeur was fallible but the biggest reason Philly won is that they are the better team this year. Should be an interesting match up if the Flyers meet the Lighting in the Eastern Conference Championship. Quote

izzi6 Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 Another stat for WCHA hockey fans; Paul Martin had the highest minus or any devils defensemen. Yes, I like it. Quote
