The Sicatoka
And OSU answers back over PSU 35-32 but there's under 0:30 left.

The Sicatoka
PSU on OSU 29 with 0:03 to play down 3. And the FG attempt is ... no good. OSU survives 35-32.

Teeder11
Not Big Sky, but old foe Stony Brook up 10-7 on #19 South Florida in Tampa at the half. Charlie Strong just loves the hot seat.

Feff
Hard to read much into the PSU/Oregon St game, there's all likelihood that Oregon St is plain awful this year and likely will be the doormat of the PAC. Week one they got thumped by Colorado St.
ND1
Eastern Wash. looks awful down 56-10 to Texas Tech. Their defense is brutal and their offense is no better.

So would you have rather switched opponents with PSU and had the win or was it better to sharpen your claws on a real opponent?
Feff
From a recruiting and media standpoint, I'd rather have the FBS win against a lesser team. Gameplay wise, I'd rather play the stronger opponent.

Playing the real opponent gives you the exposure( especially around nd, mn), great for recruiting and if you have a top 10 team(fcs) it's nice to see how you can compete. Also the fans get to experience a real stadium and real tailgating. Negatives would be , it's almost a guaranteed loss and the risk of injury to a "stud " player in a likely loss. Plain and simple ....if you want to be the best ....play the best.
