Stack Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 The Annual NCHC Play of the Year Tournament started yesterday: http://www.nchchockey.com/news_article/show/767323?referrer_id=767342 First round matchup started yesterday and Jost is in there. Go vote. His goal is SOOOOOO much better than Pulkkinen's. . Shane Gersich is also in the brackets for his spinnerama. Check each day and vote! Quote
siouxforcefans Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Jost currently losing - likely due to anti-UND sentiments after two consecutive Penne-Rosas and a Natty 1 Quote
siouxfan512 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 How is that recent Borgstrom goal not in the bracket? His moves were ridiculous. Yes, Tyson's goal is far better. No, Tyson's goal would not win it this year. This is where you want Schmaltz or Caggiulia to add some dazzle. Quote

Borgstrom's goal was #2 to Jost in the weekly rankings. You could argue either one being more impressive IMO The situation that Jost scored it in puts it over the top for me. Quote

Borgstrom is very impressive too. Sounds like he is planning on returning to DU for another season, which IMO is awesome. I'll take all the talent I can in college hockey, even if it is on another team. Great for the sport. Hope Jost does the same. Quote

bigskyvikes Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Watched all those goals on the NCHC Twitter feed. Nothing against any of the players but it sure looked like a lot of routine goals being labeled as "plays of the week"! IMO. Just nothing like the, Tic Tac Toe goal last year! Quote

Or multiple goals by the CBS line last year, they truly were a nightly highlight reel. Quote
SIOUXpucks Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Vote as many times as you like, as refreshing my browser allowed me to cast a second vote.....not exactly the fairest way to run a poll. Quote
Godsmack Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Gersich is getting whooped right now by Adam Johnson, 58 to 42%. Get out there and vote! Quote

I don't even feel like it's cheating voting tons of times for Gersich. His goal is far better. 1 Quote
