2016, best UND year ever?

I am new to following UND, but 2016 has to be one of the best years for UND athletics.

1) MH Natty, showcase at MSG

2) WBB Big Sky Champion, Big Dance

3) FB Big Sky Champs

4) MBA one win from Big Dance

4) VB Big Sky Champs, NCAA appearance 

5) Nickname debate finally over

6) Video boards at the Betty

WBB did not win the Big Sky regular season or postseason.  they did play in the WBI, and hosted 2 games in Grand Forks.

But yes, UND sports was the best part of 2016.

Seems to me that the summer of the '97 flood, we had a celebration of our National titles.  I believe there were 3.  Definitely the biggest one was in hockey.  I believe the other 2 were womens basketball and something in swimming.  Due to the flood, we could not celebrate in the spring.
