Looks like Woll in the net today for the states.  Hopefully they can weather the early red surge and not put the Canadians on the power play in this one.

Not sure if that's a good idea, Parsons is the better goalie.

Any contact to the head in IIHF games is a penalty. The IIHF's rule book is cut and dry, no "gray area" on calls.

From what I saw on my DVR was shoulder to shoulder.  

But I'm very biased.  :blush:

It was shoulder to shoulder...plus the Canadian player was a foot taller than the US player....

Looked like he got caught flat footed, and wasn't expecting the hit.
