Once we started to press the play, win the battles on the end boards and wheel into the zone, we took a bit of control. Agreed. Haviland said a few weeks ago that he had to change up their forechecking strategy about 8 games into the season due to the lack of the types of players he needs in order to play an aggressive up-tempo style. Hence, the one lone forechecker and four players clogging up the neutral zone. Quote
Stromer Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 I'd still probably take Nick over Rocco right now Nick just seems to be in much better position defensively most of the time and I like the way he can play along the boards while also not turning the puck over nyear as much as Rocco did. Nick as a freshman has already exceeded what Rocco accomplished over his entire career. No disrespect to Rocco but he isn't even close to being in Nick's league. Quote
