Maysa is decent but not sure it has enough seating. Heard a rumor a year or 2 ago that Mary wanted to add women's hockey and build a place on campus but of course just a rumor. Quote
yzerman19 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 are we will talking about Jamestown State nad ACHA D2? Sioux Hockey!!!!! Quote
cberkas Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 CHN podcast talked to the UNLV head coach. UNLV D-I Dreams Still a Ways Away : College Hockey News They have been trying to get the AD to do a NHL feasibility study for 3 months, last meeting was 6 weeks ago. AD said positive things but he's working on football and NIL at the moment (at the time). They have put together an advisory board to bring in more money and awareness. The advisory board has "high end" people and companies. President of the Golden Knights talked to the team 6 months ago about a new rink they are building (south of the strip) and having a wing for the UNLV hockey team. The advisory board wasn't for it because of $4 million and no revenue sharing. Mentioned a couple options but didn't say what they are. TSU's first NCAA game will be in Vegas against UNLV. CHL players playing ACHA will be voted on in March and is going to be approved. Quote
